Geez, enough of the fanboys. Can’t people learn how to like and respect both bike. Both are fun in different ways. 2 strokes there fast but guzzle down so much dam gas and blow up more. 4 strokes smother in every way possible more traction BUT more expensive to rebuild.

I used to have yz 125 2t and now sxf 450 4t and when I watch it, I think that 2t also has a great sound, but then I remember my sxf on akrapowicz and I don't want to have 2t again
@@gabrielhardmusic8669 its the carb slide that is stuck wide open. check your throttle cable. make sure its not pulled too tight. if thats not it, disassemble the carb to be sure its operating properly.

I'm currently having a possibility to buy 2008 KX250 or 2015 KX450F. I don't know what to do. My heart goes with 2 stroke, and I realize that these bikes are getting more rare nowadays, so it would be nice to grab one for myself, but my mind and lack of mechanical skills suggest to buy KX450F, since it will probably be easier to live with.
2 strokes are so easy to work on man trust me , go with the 2 stroke you won't be disappointed, worst outcome you just sell it for more then you bought it

The sound in this video takes me back to 1974 when I heard a Honda CR125 Elsinore sounding off and echoing through the trees on the dirt road I lived on. Life changing experience because I had never seen, heard or smelled anything like it. And the path of Destruction it left on the dirt road introduced me to my love of rooster tails.

I cannot get my kx250 to idle down and pop pop pop. I can get it idled down but once I blip the throttle it will rev up then die upon returning to idle. I’ve played with the idle screw, fuel screw and just about everything I know of. It just wants to idle high.

My father used to have a 1993 KDX250. It was worked that dam hard he had it on the highway wound off the clock at 180KPH and still climbing. In the end it kept blowing engine’s so he got rid of it. Wish it didn’t because I probably would’ve ended up with it
