Before I got into dirt bikes, I asked my friend why he only liked the two strokes, he replied with the best thing I’ve ever heard in my life “What’s not to like, they go ding ding, they smell good, and they hurt the environment” XD
They do less damage then any modern 4 cylinder family car i think everyone should just ride moto bikes around instead of cars imagin how beautiful the wourld woud be
@@mushstash7660 nah man a lot of accidents will happen imagine a city full of traffic with only bikes it would take that every person would be a pilot which is impossible
Those are the wrong reasons to like a 2 stroke. It’s the unpredictable power that keeps it exciting. Takes more technique to keep it on the pipe which makes you a better rider.
Good plan I started with the 2 stroke and then got a 4 stroke and I always ride the 4 stroke because the 2 stroke is too powerful for how I ride at this time.
The Raw Power is what makes it Fun, yet a little Scary. You have to Respect it. I have a 1990 Kawasaki KX250. So Powerful, it's teaching me to Wheelie Everytime I Ride.
I’ve only ever ridden or owned a 2 stroke and this video showed me what I thought was piston slap is just normal 2 stroke engine sound! I was so worried until I watched this!
@Domenick Pinozzi a small amount of spooge is ok, it might be jetted a little fat but thats better than too lean, especially if you run it hard or in cold weather.
People on fb group saying this and that wrong and bike is going to blow. Every video I watch with good sounding bike or just rebuilt or new everything sounds like mine. So thanks for the good sounding reference.
Me excelente moto Kawasaki verde me fascina mucho tu video de la moto que padre está muy chévere que hermoso sonido me encanta 💞 y también me exista mucho ya quiero unas moto así como esa para hacer cabajito todo los días
At 1:25, when you clear the choke. Listen to the engine not the exhaust. Is that normally healthy? I just did a rebuild and I have a sound as such, and I want to say it sounded like so before rebuild and if that is so then is that sound of combustion in the chamber or perhaps the sound of the idle gears ? I've never been around 2 strokes much except about 20 hours before rebuild on just this one bike
No both can be air or water cooled usually depending on the performance, higher performance bikes 2 or 4 need better cooling so they are usually water cooled although two strokes tend to run less hot so they commonly seen as air cooled and only the low performance 4 strokes are air cooled
I want a CR85 so bad. I’ve had my little CRF50 for such a long time and I’ve grown way out if it. I want an 85 soooo bad. I want a CR to represent Uncle Ronnie Edit: YOU HAVE TO PUT ON A HEADSET!!!
My 2008 KLX 140 4 stroke smokes more that that after waiting 2hrs of not being ran... I don't know if somethings wrong with it it just smokes a ton... Should I be worried 😂
Yeah 4 strokes definitely not supposed to smoke XD. More than likely the rings are bad. But could be burnt valve, or bad valve seal/seals. My 93 dr350 would smoke worse than this kx250 as soon as you started it cold or hot. I broke it down and found one pin sized hole in one of the exhaust valves so there was my problem. Rings where actually good and the valves looked good. I just have to throw it back together now. Went ahead and did a full top end on it. Seals, gaskets, cam chain, piston/rings. Hopefully it'll be put together soon and I'll be riding again.
