In 2024 I have a 2005 with same paint and bags, stock windshield. Yours looks better. I love it and I have a Mustang seat and the V and H pipes. It roars. I cant get enough of riding that fire breathing beast. I feel Valerion. Riding the Dragon.

You will destroy that water cooled, fuel injected engine by idling it too low in order to make it sound like a carbureted, air cooled Harley. I know this video is old, just commenting so that someone who is unaware can see and avoid damaging their fuel injected engine.

I have an '08 Nomad with Vance & Hines Duals. I can tell you your fuel controller needs adjusting and your idle is 100+ RPMs too low. I don't know how anyone could say this "sounds good." It doesn't, it sounds like crap.

Yikes! Why did it sound like it was dying??? I know it was the idle but that can't be the desired effect was it?
@CampingCoastie

The guy likes it that way, I agree, it needs a little more RPMs at idle.

Try Grasshopper for a backrest if you are running the stock Kawasaki seats.

@@CampingCoastie baffles out of Vance and Hines baggers sound good at low rpm, they sound like shit at high rpm and deceleration. I pulled mine for a bit. Also, the notion end torque suffers.

Sounds like shit to me. When people start messing with custom exhausts, so many things change on the bike that just screws things up just to get a better sound.

Well I don't think you need reflectors.. but if you're going to wear a helmet... If I have a wreck, it's really not my brain that I'm concerned about. It's my face.
@gardsnyder5657
@gardsnyder5657 4 года назад
@@kennethbiddle8934 When I was stationed in New York I was required to have reflectors on my helmet. They said it was because if you were laying on the road at night someone might swerve to miss the bike and run you over. Not that I ever wanted to be laying in the road, but I wouldn't want my head to become a speed bump either.
