join me as I show you round my new summer toy, the Kawasaki ZX6R ! -pov Gopro Hero9 #kawasaki #motorcycle #zx6r #superbike #sportsbikes #kawasakizx6r #kawasakininja
I had one in green, brand new in 2000, one of the best all rounders I’ve ever owned. I seem to remember the magazines of the time recommended raising the rear ride height adjuster by 8mm which quickened up the steering but was still stable enough for touring. Give it a try, if you don’t like it, it’s free to put it back again. 👍
Hi ! Oh no way that’s Cool! So far it seems decent all round, got some plans for the summer on it to get away! Yeah I actually read this in a forum the other day! Might give it a try! Thanks for comment mate! Hope you enjoyed the video
For a biker there’s nothing like New bike day! What about doing a track day on her? I did one many years ago at Mallory park and it was epic, although I hired a track prepped R6 with slicks on it, saw a few guys throw their own bikes down the road that day, I would’ve cried if I’d of done that on my own bike 😂 Hopefully get out for a spin with you sometime soon ✊💨💨
The best feeling!! I’ve looked into them already, seems fairly straight forward ! No doubt knowing me I’ll be no different 🤣 ! Yes for sure !! Now the weathers coming good !
Nice vid, I've just bought a 2000 j1 model in the black/silver in great condition! they are great bikes, mine is bog standard..... what upgrades do you have planned?
Thanks mate ! Oh really? How’re you finding it?? I’m not 100% sure yet, I kind of like the whole standard idea ! But then a little more noise would be nice ! Maybe a tail tidy, led lights and indicators , modernise it a little, I’m gonna tart it up too.. new shiny bits, rear suspension that sort of thing ! Maybe a different rear pyramid wheel hugger , quite like the Kawasaki green one ! What about you? Anything planned for it?
@@Murraymoto Hi Tom, Well the only thing I have replaced so far is the screen, gone for a dark tint double bubble which I do find better, want to keep the bike pretty standard I think as it's in lovely condition! Over the winter though I will be getting a new shock and probably get my silver wheels powder coated black. Cheers, Tim.
