The biggest trout ever caught in my life was off a mirror that had two propellers on it. I cut the front propeller off and left the one on the back. I called it around 93 right where Kelly plantation is now what we used to call Nat bayou. Don't know the official name of it. But that was back when they were no houses and you could drive in from the brand-new mid-bay bridge.

Sheepshead expected, grouper of that size were unexpected to me. I’ve fished that bridge a dozen times, I have caught a 7” grouper there before was all and that was on live pilchards. I’ve never caught a grouper on fiddler crabs before either, I’m sure they eat but never happened to me before. Like I said it was unexpected to me, if it was your video I guess it wouldn’t be unexpected. But thanks for watching!
Another awesome video !! I wish I had a dollar for every time that I have been over that bridge and always wondered how the fishing would be despite all of the boats that travel through there. One question, how far off the bottom do you fish when using the fiddler crabs ?? Keep the videos coming !!
Between travel and charters it will be pretty hectic until the start of august, but when things slow down or I get an open spot in my schedule sure thing man.
I love fishing and really don't feel any stress about it. I was a firefighter/paramedic for 25 years, people trapped in a fire or children not breathing made me nervous, nothing about fishing makes me nervous, lol. No offense taken.
