Kayak Fishing Lower Chesapeake Bay Grass Flats for Striper and Redfish|  

Spring is in full swing and nearing summer temps and have sent the Speckled Trout moving north into the grass flats of the Chesapeake Bay. I set out in the Pro Angler 12 looking for Speckled Trout but instead found Redfish and Striped Bass.
Most of the fish were caught using the Z-man Paddlerz 5" (Green Lantern) using a steady and slow retrieval but a few were caught using the 9' 10wt fly rod using clouser/deceiver flies.
I also captured some aerial views of the bay which was quite clear showing the plethora of grass.
