This Kayak Trolling Motor Mount Setup is Cheap, and Works really good. This is one way of thinking outside the box and testing your kayak out with a trolling motor for under $20 if you already have a trolling mount and battery. It took me less than an hour to put this little Motor mount. I went to Home Depot and picked up 1/4 inch PVC, 2 1/4 inch 90s, 5/16x4inch bolts, nuts, and a 2x4. Those few parts allowed me to put together this little gem of a motor mount and see just how fast this kayak can go and how much nicer it is not having to worry about paddling. Let me know if you have made a trolling motor mount and if it was better or cheaper than this one right here.
