We went kayaking on Lake Powell into Antelope Canyon! It was an awesome day. Hiking into and seeing Antelope Canyon was a dream. The waves of red rock tower above you as you make your way through the skinny path. It was incredible. Both kayaking on Lake Powell and hiking the Antelope Canyon. Definitely worth the extra effort getting our blow up kayak down and then up that hill.

great video, very rewarding. I have a question, what month did you go? I see that the water is very low, do I have to carry the kayak for a long distance to reach the water? Did you go in the afternoon? How long were you walking around the antelope? Thank you very much, we are looking into going kayaking at the end of this month as well.

Thanks! We went at the beginning of May. Yes, we did carry the kayaks a far distance to reach the water. the year that we went the water was very low. I believe the water levels fluctuate in Lake Powell so it might be higher this year. We did go in the afternoon but it wasn’t extremely hot when we went. Still hot but not the summer heat yet. We walked around about 2.5 hours. One note is the time changes right there somewhere so just make sure you give yourself enough time to head back before dark. Have fun on your trip!
