all three of them were literally amazing in their roles. their performances were so on point, their body language, their facial expressions... Even if the show's events are not included in the actual soc duology, it still felt accurate and not fanfiction-ish at all, which was my main concern. also that darkling and kaz interaction was amazing.

I'm not a fan of Shadow and bone trilogy but I love Six of crows duology. I was nervious of how writters would add original material to enlace the Dregs with Alina plotline but OMG they did it fantastic. My favorite scenes were When Jesper had his badass shooter moment after being calm by Milo, Inej doing her acrobatic routine and Kaz pinning with the eyes and Kaz vs the Inferni. Can't wait to see their chemestry with Nina, Matthias and Wylan.

Inej is a badass and I admire her so much. Kaz has such a tragic backstory, they portrayed him so well. Jesper is the wholesomeness but also would murder if needed and i stan that. (and milooooo!!)

Jesper really is the highlight of the entire show

Cast is great, but I'm especially impressed by Carter as Kaz. His character could easily turn into a cringy wannabe edgy dude under a lesser actor. Thankfully, Carter is so convincing in the role that Kaz feels like a proper badass.

I never read the shadow and bone series, but I did read the side series "six of crows", about Kaz and his crew, even so, I still stayed up till midnight to wait for fo the premiere of the series and finished it in one sitting. I really liked it, and it felt amazing to finally see the characters brought to life.

Anyone else watching the show primarily for these guys? I love the crows so much! 🥰

Okay so I never read the books (I'm not much of a fantasy book genre at all) and on a whim decided to give this show a try. I thought it was going to be like any other YA show and I really didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. It was really good! I didn't give two hoots about Alina and Mal and the test of them but what I REALLY liked about the show were these three- Jesper, Kaz and Inej. And of course the romantic tension between Kaz and Inej. MAN THOSE TWO ARE AMAZING. Someone who has read the books, please tell me that they get together!

I find them much more interesting characters than Alina, Mal or the Darkling. I started reading the books (Shadow and Bone trilogy) because of them, but stopped after realizing they are not in it. :( Gonna read six of crows though soon :D

I loved the show so much!! The crows were definitely the best part imo...(also Milo)

The casting was absolutely nuts and they did deliver, Dirtyhands coming face to face with the darkling, Jesper being so, so much iconic and Inej showing her skills it was awesome. But i still feel they added nothing to the story and they were reduced to not being key players especially since they aren't doing heists or approaching problems which can be solved with logic. Netflix need to do a proper show for them. But i am also excited for how they will play a part in the official ending of the original trilogy.

I love how Inej wasn’t going to kill the Grisha BUT when the Grisha said she would kill everything she loves that’s when she decided to kill her. And while I’m a huge Kanej stan, I really like to think that she was thinking about her parents at that moment and that’s why she killed the Grisha

Jasper when he gets money Kaz says do not spend it on gambling jasper “ofc not” jasper 1 minute after “i spent it all on gambling”

My two conclusions after watching the series (as an ignorat who hadn't read the books): 1. Alexander looks like young Joseph Stalin 2. Kaz, Jasper, Inej (and Milo!) are the only reason to watch it
