Why not? China is a SOCIALIST country and aims to keep to its tenets of equality among all as much as possible. President Xi may be a leader but he is also a human being just like everyone else in China. He has no need to "show off" with grand standing "personal" planes and yachts (like the British Royalty) or go around in a bullet-proof, bomb-proof, gas-attack proof, missile proof "The Beast" limousine like the U.S. President.

There is no Chinese equivalent ready right now but don't you worry - China's C929 and C939 is under development using their own Yangtze CJ2000 and CJ3000 turbofan jet engines when it is all properly tested and certified. There will be no U.S. built planes used in China by that time, estimated to be around 2030.
