I study in one of the universities in Almaty. Its the best public university in Kazakhstan apart from Nazarbayev University in Nur-Sultan/Astana. The education is good but there are some flaws for the English classes and i don't know if its the same for Russian or Kazakh languages. They try to use the most modern methods. I study medicine, the faculty is new probably that might be the reason. From what i have heard, other universities are almost the same or more. Btw, from your name, it seems your Turkish and there alot of Turkish students here...most left last year bcuz of ease of admission in Turkish state universities sooo ig u might see fewer of them now, but nonethless they are there...regarding school, my relatives son studies there in one of the Russian schools. They have the same school eith evergthing being the same except the language of instruction will be Kazakh but i have no idea. They are taught english and kazakh too and they have a good level of education it seems when i see the students there. Moreover, they have a better rating or comparable rating for there education rating (something called TIMMS idk ) but i hope she makes a video too cuz i am curious to know more🤞🤞

Market sellers are not used to anything but kazakh/russian, so even to try to bargain would be an issue as an english speaker. If anything, some sellers would agree to bargain by writing prices back and forth, although they always try to upsell to foreigners (my experience from a similar bazaar in Tashkent).

For foreigners it might be hard,cos they see that u are not local. Isn’t it everywhere?when I was in China ,ppl assumed me as from S.K and threefold the prices 😂
