I'm 50..something and I managed to somehow never hear her sing until I saw a performance on U-Tube. I was blown away. I also like looking at her. Her face is so interesting. Sometimes she looks homely and other times like an angel. Now I have to go out and get an album!!!. Thanks for uploading.
Remember watching this and thinking how lucky I was to have caught KD's gig in Glasgow a few days before! She was absolutely sublime. Had my dreams answered by hearing her sing the wonderful 'Helpless' and the truly moving 'Hallelujah'. Had the biggest lump in my throat and tears in my eyes all the way through that song! It was a wonderful experience: she is such a wonderful singer.
Thanks for joining and putting kd material on YT. This interview was wonderful-really shows the natural kd-what a true star without all the ego. Just kd and her guitar--I loved it! Keep up the good work.
wow what a privilage to sit and be sung to by the fab fab fab kdl. No airs or graces to the woman, just takes out a guitar and transports her audience. Thanks for posting!
k.d. is getting older and getting better! I like the bit of gray in my hair, too, k.d. The ultimate professional and never ending talent. I dream of Spring today, too, k.d.
Thank you for posting this..It is really rather special. I like the fact she is too Kool for Skool...That moment tho when Phil mentioned Britney..could tell she was probs thinking NO COMMENT move on..lol.
Like the man said,"It doesn't get better than this." Well, kd probably will because you think "this is IT" and then she gives you something better. It just finished thundering in a hail storm in the middle of February, in West Virginia, 2009. Praise the heavens. Thank you for this gift.
Good to see a star who is very much grounded and "works hard" (3:57) at keeping a balance to her public career and personal space... and yet continues to give such wonder performances - thank you.
Can't agree more.Admittedly a high percentage of her audience were gay, but not exclusively. Both myself and my husband were so excited to get the chance to see her live, and Christ she was just SOOOOO good. She is unique: her voice is so pure and yes, you just sit, watch and listen. You realise then that you are experiencing something very special. I shall bottle the memories.
What is the song of the third video clip they showed? After Constant Craving and Cry? Sorry, I'm a new fan. My apologies. By the way, I watched her live in Singapore - amazing.
