Kishore Kumar himself said that this was the most difficult song in his entire career as it was very long with a lot of different transitions in the the same song and you must know that in those days the recording used to be for the whole song ,it used to be a single take singing such a complex song in one take is very difficult

@@vibrantvickybecause it was semi classical song..and he recorded it only after listening to Lataji's version as he was not trained in classical music...but he sang more difficult songs than this one and Pag ghungroo is one of them..no other singer would have been sble to deliver that song..

Fun fact about this song...it was inspired by Peter Sellers “The Party” in many ways especially the scene immediately preceding this song. Amitabh plays a simpleton who has arrived in the big city from his small town looking for a job. This is an absolutely classic comedy with Amitabh, usually among the top 5 comedies of any Hindi film lover.
