In this clip, Keefe D spoke about going to prison around the time crack hit the streets of Compton. He told of his experience seeing what the drug did to people before and after he went to prison. Keefe D said while he was incarcerated he used the time to develop a plan to use to become a better, more elusive criminal once he was released. Keefe D spoke about getting hooked up with a Colombian plug for cocaine. He explained how the connect was able to give him $2.5 million in product on consignment the first time they did business. I was born in 1981. I grew up in LA right at the height of the crack epidemic. My Mom was one if those people that thought crack was like cocaine and she tried it. She literally functioned for about 5-6 years. Then one day she went to Church and literally just stopped. My best friend, her boyfriend in like 2012 sold crack.
