I broke out of my usual practise of buying cheap and bought one of these. Day one I learned it is very difficult to dial a bad sound out of the D&M. I love it. Wherever you set the knobs a good guitar sound comes out. A possible exception would be the Tones flat out but who does that ;^) ? Only danger is; it's given me a taste for boutique pedals ... must... resist... Aaarrrgghh!!! Might risk a couple o' bob on a DOD - Looking Glass or a Circle of Tone - Quad Damage but most of my overdrive sounds are sorted now with the D&M.
haven't check you out so far, but gotta say first impression is gold...totally humble guy with lots of knowledge, superb sound and the right kinda humor, at least for me :)

Hi Rabea, great demo and playing of course! I’ve had a D&M drive for a few months and have found it to be a great pedal particularly a Strat which seems to give you many drive tones but not lose the character of the single coil. With my ML2 classic and those Seymour Duncan’s man there is drive to pile up into an Everest size mountain. Also the boost for solos works really well, giving you loads of extra volume easily. Great pedal. 🎸👍🤘🏻🎸
Aw man, so good. From watching TPS for years now, I'm used to both of their tones, which I love, and when you kick both on it sounds so much like them, right when you kicked Dan's side in, it sounded just like him when he uses his Hamstead, uugghhh I don't need to spend anymore money
I use mine with Micks side as the main drive, into a 800 studio ( for home ) and 800 100 watter ( for Live bigger venues), both have the preamp gain at just past noon, both have the treble caps cut. With literally little gain on either side you can get usable tonal variations. I experimented with a number of other gain pedals in the chain , this pedal works amazingly well with other drive pedals. I have a rook royale and KTR Klon, which I run into the D&M, ( Pedal boost is set to Micks side), the variations in gain are incredibly versatile. Dont be afraid to stack it with other overdrives.
Just to toss it out there, but the Level on BOTH sides has a tremendous range, and this pedal is much louder, even at mid levels, than others I've used. It ... can ... get ... loud. ;) Great demo, Rabea!
Excellent demo Rabea. Killer shredding on that strat. Thanks for using a single coil guitar. Sounds amazing as always with your playing. Seems like a pretty decent pedal. I’ve watched a few episodes of TPS and they sound great to me so I think this pedal has to be good. I don’t think I’m wrong from what I heard here but that’s just my opinion. For like 5 minutes I thought you were saying the "Mix" side of the pedal and the "Down" side...I was just listening to the video and I thought it had some kind of weird pro audio features.
Just got this pedal the other day. In the battle for one pedal to rule them all, this wins. Seriously, I thought I became a better guitar player the instant I kicked the switch on this pedal. Not sure how Robert included a talent boost in the circuit.
Brian Eckfeld You could say the Angry Charlie side is similar to Dan's ... but Mick's side is a mid frecuencies pusher, so different to a full range overdrive like the blues driver
Tons of overdrive , and boost pedals on the market. I'd love to try one, but the ones I have give me a run for my tone. This pedal sounds good with you, Dan, Mick, and Mr. Keeley behind it. I've always been thin. It's highly over-rated Rabeard!
Hi Rabea, despite it being a while ago I seriously hope you have considered including the third riff from Riff Wars 3 with Fluff into a song. That was so sick and as I already love the style of Toska, I think that could make the greatest instrumental track in that style. Just my 2 cents, but have a good one either way.

I would love to hear this pedal in combination with your kraken (so with a bit of crunch, like you talked about in the video.) Nevertheless, this is a great demo of the pedal man, really love your playing!
Hey Rabea, I just watched your video on the keeley electronics Cavern pedal and I loved it so much I bought it halfway through the video. Could you do a video on how you write/play in that ambient style? I'd love to learn how to play that style better.
