Watching this clip one day after the phenomenal 2022 WC 800 final where she held off Keely Hodgkinson...what a great rivalry for these two young women, and I'm hoping it will go on for years. Track hasn't had a really great rivalry in about forever, maybe not since Coe and Ovett in the 1980's, and it's so satisfying to see now.

@@joeyaigot3499 She already has the 400m in her skill set. She has done some 200m as well but not on the same level. She ran the fastest split in the 4x400 final so yea .. she def has the potential to do both. But passing Felix's record will definitely be a feat.

@@shirmeldanielle2161 like I said. She has to add the 100, 200 and 400 into her regular races. Not just run it now and then. Alison Felix ran all 3 of them at the Olympics. She was just crowned the most all rounded true Runner of all time. No one has a record like she does, not even bolt does. So stop trying to compare. Athing will never be able to do 100 and 200. And that's from her mouth and her coaches.

@@joeyaigot3499 why would she do the 100 and 200 when she has the 400, 800, and 1500, and mile? Allyson Felix would NEVER have been able to run a competitive 800, or mile.

I don’t see why they wouldn’t put her to run it. Athing and McLaughlin are the two fastest 400m runners right now.

@@arathgomez615 oddly enough they were left out of the relay. As of right now the relay has Felix, Ellis, Whitney, Jonathas, and Hayes.

@@christianstrickland2512 That is maybe for the qualifying round, before you put in the A-team in the final. I can't see any 400m runner beat Mu, McLaughlin or Mohammad. I hope Felix shows some good shape though, so we can see her in the 4×4 final.
