Those 2 ladies up there literally sang together their whole life and they sang this song since they were just little girls. I listen to the XERA border station recordings from 1939 and this was the opening and closing theme of the show. AP, Sara Maybelle, Jeannete (APs daughter) and Helen ,June and Anita all sang this theme song. It's just great to see them together here with the classy Nitty Gritty Dirt band. Thanks to the band for such a great video.

I didn’t realize ~ Anita passed as a young woman. I agree that her sister has a lovely pure voice, too. One of the wonderful things about music is that while you are focusing on it, you forget your worries and pain, truly. I know this to be true. Thank you for posting this video.
