Fahrenheit was my first perfume my mom bought me in high school back in the 1990s and it reminds me of my teenage years and all those kisses with girls.
Fantastic list! I love how this wasn’t an obscure list of rare, expensive niche. Just goes to show your genuine honesty. Also, it’s great how you’re supporting upcoming reviewers. 👍🏻
My opinion is Chanel Allure Homme Sport vaporisateur is one of the best fragrances. Its got amazing performance, smells great with whatever season your in. And the ammount of compliments ive got with it is unreal. Although it is really overpowering when you first put it on and you should never overspray with it. But its just an amazing smell, and is really worth the money.
Fahrenheit all the way! I own 200mil and will keep buying it to the end of my days. So controversial, so provocative. Always provokes conversations, not always nice but this is it!! :)
Great idea for a video. My favorite out of all your picks is Starwalker. I am a huge fan of the entire Montblanc house, mainly because I find their colognes to be gentle but decisively masculine in nature. They don't announce their presence 100 feet before you enter the room. The price for all their colognes is reasonable. My only complaint is that the longevity of their colognes is only about 4 hours for me. Starwalker is a diamond in the rough.
My top 10 fave fragrances so far are: 1) Amouage - Lyric Man 2) Hugo Boss - Boss Bottled Intense EDP 3) Armani - Code Profumo 4) Versace - Eros 5) Bentley - For Men Intense 6) Dior - Sauvage 7) D&G -Light Blue Eau Intense Pour Homme 8) Chanel - Allure Homme Édition Blanche 9) Thierry Mugler - A*Men 10) Histoire de Parfums - Édition Rare Fidelis P.S.: With the exception of No.5, I don't own any of these creations so far, but I'd LOVE to in the future. Black Orchid from TF intrigues me, but I'm considering Grey Vetiver as a safety option. Update: Boss Bottled Intense is the best "comfort scent". You can wear it ANYWHERE, ANYTIME, and ANY SEASON. It's good if you wanna smell good without offending anyone. Update's coming soon about Black Orchid! 😊
I’d like to see a top 10 nostalgic scents, we don’t always have to see what we should buy but I know a lot of us would like to see your picks man. Anyways love the content as usual
Great list Ashton ! I agree that Gucci Pour Homme is really a hidden gem ! I always get compliments when wearing it . . . especially when dressed up. It seems to be a charismatic fragrance all on it's own ! Thanks for sharing !
Got this video recommended and just thought: I got to know if you include it. I could imagine it. And boum: it‘s your number one. Fahrenheit is love. I‘m too young to know the old original version, but even the scent nowadays is just awesome and I don‘t know any scent which could compare. Such an awesome fragrance.
Fahrenheit is incredible. The newer Parfum version is out of this world. Truly a timeless masterpiece. I’m not surprised that one made top of the list. I don’t think I’ll ever not have a bottle of Fahrenheit that gets used regularly. Very classy scent.
Mugler Ultra Zest is better than Pure Havane for me. Ultra Zest has to be one of the most underrated fragrances ever. I get a compliment 2 in every 3 times I wear it. It's very unique. Hope it isn't discontinued.
Funny thing about AHEE. I went to Macy’s yesterday and had two fragrance in mind to get (it being Invictus or ASEE), this pretty old lady smelled the two and recommended me to buy Invictus haha. She smelled the two before giving me her opinion. I smelled AHEE while I was there and wasn’t thrilled about AHEE. I did like Allure Homme more than the Sport and AHEE. Went ahead and bought Invictus. Good list, mate.
Absolutely love this list. I definitely think I'm on the same page here . . . especially with the Fahrenheit! Not tried that John Varvatos fragrance, but the original JV is my favourite fragrance EVER!
I was really surprised by a few of these. I love Gucci pour homme also. F*ck the haters lol. I would also have Farhenheit in my 10 frags. I found this video quite interesting. Thanks Ashton.
Starwalker ist such an amazing fragrance. At first I thought it was kinda boring but now it's one of my favorite fragrances and it's so cheap aswell. Another one of those fragrances which were sadly discontinued
Great list. Eau Sauvage Parfum2012, ADG Profumo, TDH Eau Tres Fraiche, Versace Man Eau Fraiche, Gucci Envy, Dior Fahrenhiet, D&G Pour Homme (vintage), Hermes Bel Ami, Chanel Platinum Egoist, YSL M7. These should cover me through the seasons and most situation and many have stood the test of time!!
Man the Dreamer, to me that is one of my favorite designers of all time. You have a great list here. I have never smelled any of those Gucci, I'm sure they are/were awesome.
Against the grain on the EDT's- The One & BDC...I agree wholeheartedly though. Fresher...better IOO! (In Our Opinions). Starwalker & Artisan Pure would also make my list. Michel Kors for Men (old form.) & PE 360 Black would likely as well...tough pickin's!
I really like your videos, you are the best explaining what the colonges smell like. You give your honest opinion on what you like or dislike about them.
Of the bunch that you named, Armani Acqua di Gio Profumo is my favorite. I also have the Gucci by Guuci, but my favorite Gucci fragrance is still the 1976 Pour Homme variety.
• Bleu de Chanel EDP • Dolce & Gabbana The One EDP • Dior Savage EDP • Montblanc Explorer • Prada L’Homme • Tom Ford Tobacco Oud • Agua de Gio Profumo • Chanel Platinum Egoiste • Bvlgari Man In Black • Tom Ford Noir Extreme 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
I won a bottle of Fahrenheit at Ft Gordon Georgia at the BX for answering a trivia question... everyone in my platoon wore that cologne when we had weekend leave back in 2009.... one of my favorites that I can't find anywhere, is the very first Polo Crest.... so glad I found the channel, do you do any type of giveaway samples or anything???? I'm 42 and i love 4 of your choices...

How you picked 10 out of your collection is beyond me!! Because you have tons, and tons, and tons, and tons lol..... now I must head to the fragcave to decide on ten. My mind is allready reeling
Big credit to you for being able to pick 10 from your tons of bottles! 👏🏼 👏🏼. Surprised to see Artisan Pure. Disliked Fahrenheit after sometime. Excluding Dior Homme, the rest agree 💯! Can we see the niche equivalent of this list? Thanks, bro!
Ashton this video is THA BOMB, BOMB.COM, SWEET, OFF THA HOOK, STELLAR and everything else I haven't said in 12 years. Thinking about what 10 designer fragrances I can't live without, most would make my list based purely off of nostalgia. 1. Polo Blue 2. Aqua Di Gio 3. Tommy by Tommy Hilfiger 4. Zirh Corduroy 5. Lucky You by Lucky Brand 6. Kenneth Cole Reaction NOW THE SERIOUS STUFF 7. Bleu de Chanel 8. D&G The One 9. Versace Dylan Blue 10. JPG Le Male Superman
Gucci Envy, Gucci Pour Homme (2003) and Rive Gauche Pour Homme were all produced under the creative direction of THE Tom Ford. After these companies (Gucci and YSL) were bought out, we lost some legendary scents. Comme Des Garcons 2 Man is pretty close to Gucci Pour Homme and Floris Santal is pretty close to Gucci Envy for Men, if you need an in-production dupe with niche quality.
I’m with you on Dior Fahrenheit bro, that fragrance was an absolute panty dropper back in the 90’s. I wore it the other day at a work party and got a ton of compliments. The old boy had still got it. (And that was the reformulated version damn).
You would think D&G would up the level of perfume oil in their popular fragrances. Even the EDP version of The One hasn't got great longevity. Its ashame as The One and Intenso are favourites of mine.
Hey, may i ask you how can i find vintage bottles like your Fahrenheit ? Only option i know is ebay but usually not the best conditions in terms of price or size. Thanks, great list!
I do know how you feel about star Walker being your happy scent. I love jaguar vision for some reason I put that shit on before bed. it's the only bottle I have bought that I ran out of.
Nice touch, that you keep your scents that guided you through your life (1st one from Chelsea, lowlife Mall job)! Always know, where you come from. Shoutout to true scent soldier Ash! ✊😃
awesome list. nice to see dreamer in there, especially given the emotional connection to it. as for artisan pure, i'm having a hard time seeing the similarity to the TF fragrance as others suggest. To me it's a small brother of Caron Pour homme sport. both make me think of mojitos by the pool on a very hot day. One is sweeter and the other has a strong mint feel to me. And i'm envious as hell for that Envy...no pun intended. Never seen a bottle in person and not sure I want to spend the money for it. Keep them coming.
Great list, Ash. AGD Profumo DG The one, Envy...Great pix. And I thought I was the last human left that loved Starwalker. I spray my f'ing pillow with that gorgeous juice just so I can immerse myself in it as I'm falling asleep. I was actually surprised that you didn't include Armaf Craze Fraiche in this list...
Nice video as usual.I do like Gucci Envy , but a guy that i work with offered me $270 for my 99% full 50ml bottle .. Do i like it-sure,but i had to sell it-not worth this much imo.SOTD Tom Ford Grey Vetiver EDP
Great list! I like the approach you took on mixing it up with what you like and what evokes good memories, which is just as important. I happen to have great scents that I DON'T wear anymore because they evoke bad memories. One of them happens to be the Gucci Gucci in your list, and the other is Xerjoff Nio. I feared that Artisan Pure would smell too much like Nio, but it's different enough to be wearable for me. Keep up the great work man.
Cool video, I enjoyed it a lot! I am wondering your thoughts on the current formulation of Fahrenheit (basically anything from 2015/2016 and later). Since you own the vintage stuff and can compare it to the modern juice, do you still think the Fahrenheit that is sold today is a good buy?
Nice list. Fahrenheit will always be a fave of mine. Gucci by Gucci pour homme was amazing in 2008. It literally started my fragrance obsession, and I have been searching for a close replacement ever since with no joy. It was weakened to within an inch of it's life over the following years. So infuriating. The only one of there's I think isn't garbage since is their latest guilty absolute. Rant over. Keep up the great reviews.
