Is there any way the sound can be restored for this video now in 2023? Would love to hear all my favorite characters outtakes. PLEASE HELP ❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️ Some of the cast have passed on and it's nice to have videos like this to watch and LISTEN to. ❤️ this show and all the cast so much. ❤️
It's odd, it's like youtube or the author has stripped out the audio completely. I downloaded the video file, there IS an audio track, but it's essentially empty. There's no way to fix that without reuploading the video with correct audio, or finding the audio to overlay it in the editor. And the weird thing is, I know I've watched this video before, so god knows what happened to the audio.
Why is the sound gone again? Is it UMG again, is it the BBC? They don't seen that fussy with the outer series of out-takes and at least two include a song from Annie Get Your Gun whose rights are still held by UMG. In perpetuity presumably...
It's hilarious watching them take the scene seriously only to come out of character when they start laughing. I love it especially when Patricia Routledge laughs - it makes her look so different to how Hyacinth usually looks. Josephine Tewson's laugh at around 3:10 is unforgettable!
No, there is no sound. So the question is: why is there no sound? Because with your way of asking it, you're asking for why is there no absence of sound.
Well, I don't need any sound to pay personal tribute and farewell to Geoffrey Hughes. I remember the first time I saw him back in 1969, in Spike Milligan's vehicle "Curry & Chips". He could brighten up many a bad day with his humor. In an abundance of ways, he was truly the "Heartbeat" of many a scene throughout his career. Pleasant journey Geoff……….
The two actresses playing Rose, Geoffrey Hughes (Onslow), and Clive Swift (Richard) - Have all died, sadly - so IDK if it could still be done the way it was, and have the same 'charm' that the original cast gave it.. :/
More episodes would have been amazing but i get why Dame Patricia wanted to stop. No actor wants to hit the point where people ask "Why is that old program still on?" Better to go out on top and have people saying "amazi g show, i wish i could see more".
The line was supposed to be "I need a travel agent", and then continues into talking about garages. So she had garages on the brain when she was supposed to say travel agent.
@dollydot123 Ah okay thanks. I always thought that it was literal because there was one blooper where she sticks her thumb into her mouth and pushes her teeth.
