Welders need to be aware of their strong areas of the pipe. If you lay in a good bead from 6 o’clock to 12 (moving clockwise)But struggle moving counter clockwise 6 to 12? I recommend doing the harder area first. Insteadve doing the easy side. As the pipe heats up, the root goes in differently. People who’s speed is inconsistent will experience more suck back and/or excessive reinforcement in the root. Saving their “hardest” side, for last.
