I had a KP61 Starlet 12 years ago when I was 16, they were cheap af back then here in NZ and I chucked a 4K engine from a Corolla in it. Was an awesome car, I wish I had it now. 80s and 90s Japanese cars have absolutely skyrocketed in value here now.
Totally. I wish there were more English sub episodes. But having lived in Japan and only concentrated on my spoken Japanese car stuff is kinda difficult to translate.
The starlets have always been a neat little car and Toyota's engines are good and easily maintained those two cars were gunning it.thanks to the person who translated this video 👍
I dearly miss my KP61... It was such a riot to drive and it took a lot of personal fortitude to get used to not lifting off the throttle while cornering... :) I even left a 2006 STi in the dust on a canyon drive in my 100% stock and original KP61. :) But, it was half the weight, so that helped. :)
MR.Keiichi Tsuchiya. i want to see you drive a 87-89 toyota mr2 aw11 mk1b red top 4age like mine..5 speed c52 transmission. any years before are blue top 4age aw11 mk1a. i want to see you drift the mr2. or grip the mr2. these little cars are fun af. post a new video.
the triangulated Four-link rear suspension on the KP is known for being bouncy when ride height is changed. You'd need to convert to something more similar to an AE86's rear suspension to eliminate it iirc.
Something happened with that supercharged KP61, which they didn't show us.. The front fender is damaged when they show it racing, but it was still fine before then!
yeap :p maybe while taking a turn , the fender went in or maybe he did some little off road :v ? if you look closely during corner the other side is like touching the tire
