Reform voters have taken a long-term view as their split of The Right has enabled Labour to win endless seats where they would have, easily,lost if THe Right had not split. What they need to do for zero hour contracts/dodgy employers is the same as they do here in Spain. For any job - even collecting trolleys in the supermarket - every worker has to have a signed contract stating 20 or 40 hour - there are no other options for hours available. To get the contract they need to provide their residential address (and proof), show their government issued ID card and provide their number (or in UK it will be NI number). If they cannot do that then they cannot get a job, which stops people working who shouldn't be there, and any business caught hiring employees with no legal contract are fined thousands. They can go and check any business randomly with no notice. The employer also has to pay the full heath care and pension costs (around 35% of the pay - so on a weekly €500 to the employee, the employer pays €175 in social security and pension costs to the government on top of their wage), the employee does not pay anything themselves towards that - giving them more money in their wages. Every Employee here are also paid an allowance towards clothing and fuel costs to get to work - that is a set amount of a few € a week depending on the distance of their home from work, even if they don't own a car and cycle or walk to work.

Interesting facts: 1. Only 60% of eligible UK voters bothered to vote. 2. Of those that bothered, Labour took one third of the votes. 3. THAT MEANS 80% OF ELIGIBLE UK VOTERS DIDN’T VOTE LABOUR, AND THEY WON BY ‘LANDSLIDE’!😂
