I'm 11 seconds in and Keith is already wearing a terrifying costume that is breaking down my sanity. There are 40 minutes left. I've never been more afraid of him.
Here's what I love: Eat the menu. Here's what I don't love: How you can literally *hear* the grease coating Kieth's vocal cords by the end of the video.
Eugene: “How are you already crazy?? I thought you just started-“ Keith: *eyes rolling into the back of his skull* “It’s a lottaaa food here.” Eugene: *nervous laughter*
@@justinwion Or he could be having a Hyperglycemic episode, which is an excess of glucose in the blood. Not to be confused with a Hypoglycemic episode which is not enough glucose in the blood.
@@aparna7710it’s been a year but fuck it. Jack in the box is an experience. It’s the place you go when you’re high/drunk off your ass and every other place is closed because it’s 1am. You order it because you think it’s gonna be great, and for the first couple bites it is, but by the time you get close to finishing you start to think you’d have been better off not eating. The tacos are always exactly like in the video: greasy and disgusting, but they somehow taste indescribably amazing. That’s the Jack in the box experience.
I am continually astonished at the size of his mouth. He took out half of that taco in a single bite! His dentist must adore him. So much room to work.
Zach: makes a valid point about accessibility of fast food in relation to healthy eating Keith: WHAT IF YOU MADE IT INTO A SMOOTHIE WOULDN'T THAT BE WHACK
True story: We have a client whose bowels have basically stopped working, so he's on a puree diet. His favorite thing used to be cheeseburgers. So... now he gets blended cheeseburgers. Not the same.
I live in a food desert and I'm so lucky that I have a car to go get "real food," but so many people don't understand that if you have limited transportation in a food desert you can't just "make healthier choices" when the closest vegetable is literally 2 miles away. Fast food places trying to put more veggies and fruits in their food is so important for the well-being of the folks in the areas where that's the only option.
I know on the podcast Keith later explained that getting high intensified how sick he felt from being so full and he started to have a panic attack because he felt like he was dying. Watching this again it's incredibly sweet the way he calls for Becky to come help him when he's spiraling but trying to put a brave face on it. Becky helps him get back on his feet and by the time she leaves, he's happy and functional again. To me, that's a much better indicator of a happy healthy couple than always being cute and sweet and happy on camera.
why is it that in the first part, Keith is dressed like he's about to ride a bike to my house and tell me about Mormonism, and then by 30 minutes in he's just gone through his 3rd divorce in 8 years
Wow... To the person who commented above me. Idk if you know but usually an eating disorder has to do with people not eating and it is deathly. Disgusting to say to them not to eat. If something is helping them, God bless them and let it help
Ex Jack employee here, you are correct, the tacos come pre packaged as frozen tortillas and meat, dropped into the fryer for 10 seconds, and pried open with your fingers with half a slice of cheese, iceberg lettuce, and a dollop of their hot sauce. You can make 10 at once, I've had customers who've ordered 100 tacos before. Lots of burnt fingers.
Can we just all appreciate how when he wasn’t feeling well (and according to the podcast on the verge of a panic attack) he immediately started calling for his Becky and was so much better by the time she left?
Yes! That is love! Your significant other should be the one you call when you are having a bad time lol If they don't make you feel better by just being around, might need to talk through some things. They are your "other half" because they can bring you up in the best ways. Or even bring you down more than anyone can, but they won't because they love you. So go on and use ur wife to get to the next segment 😆 P.S. Keith, we wouldn't be mad if you did a two day video. You looked white as a 👻
Petition so Keith can split this show into two days so he doesn’t want to die at the end of it. I love these but I hate seeing him in so much pain from it.
jason axelrod the only thing he’s gaining is heart disease. I don’t like watching people in pain so I rather let him know he doesn’t have to do it like this.
Keith looked so pale and sick and I'm surprised he didn't vomit let alone pass out from the heat his body is creating breaking down all of that food, props to him being braver and stronger than anyone for doing this *salute*
I don't think I've ever seen a person deteriorate quicker than Keith in this video... the suffering was somewhat funny but also quite alarming. I really hope that future Eat The Menu videos will be less painful for Keith
@@lengelkamp13 He only got high later in the video for the munchie menu. He was even asked if it was "just Jack In The Box" right now. I do remember the podcast, though, and feel sorry for him.
I know this is a kind of out there comment, and it’s extremely unlikely but auto brewery disorder? It’s a disorder that makes you drunk from eating normal foods, but it’s super rare and he could just be high and full as hell lol
As someone who would be drunk at 2am with $20, you are a life saver. Waking up, surrounded by taco packaging, made me feel as if life was lived....in the worst way possible.
@Victoria Rechkemmer at standing there and looking pretty and having everyone tell her she's sooo pretty. Compared to the other try spouses she's the least mature or accomplished. I mean she's good at make up and talking to much and that's about it.
@@kimp.dr.n2652 if we are going by what we know of people off of RU-vid, then I guess it's safe for me to say that the only thing you have accomplished is hurting people you don't know using RU-vid comments. 🙃 Also. Everytime you say something, think to yourself, how would I feel if someone said this to my child. It really helps one not be a bitch. ❤️
@@fernandaguerrero1030 He said in the podcast he thought it would help to get high because most of the Jack in the Box menu caters to... well, high people
I was pretty worried about Keith. Keith, if you're reading this, you can separate menus out between days. I don't want you to feel this way ever again!
The tacos are soybean meat in a tortilla, pre packaged from a factory and put in the fryer for about 32 seconds then taken out and opened with a slice of cheese, lettuce and taco sauce on top
mandarinduck they don’t market it like that probably bc it’s fried in oil mixed with meat and is in a taco with cheese in it. and too pathetically gross to be vegan unfortunately. at least vegan food tries to be good, they didn’t even try with their tacos. just oily, plastic
I can’t tell if you’re trying to help a struggling business or tank them 😂 I’m just thinking of all the Gordon Ramsey Kitchen Nightmares episodes where they massive menus and are out of a lot of stuff and half of it is frozen - at least Keith can be brutally honest when it’s a corporation lol he’d probably feel bad if he had to make those comments about a struggling business
Great idea but what if Keith eats something he doesn’t like? What if there are more then one item he doesn’t like? That could ruin a small family- owned business that is already struggling. The only way this would work in favour for a small family restaurant would be foods he likes. So for that I’m all for this idea!! If Keith doesn’t like a big corporate business restaurants food they won’t be hurt as bad.
In theory that’s a good idea.. however it’ll be a super review and bad for business or awkward when theres any food that isn’t good. These fast food chains are millionaires so no harm done. Just for entertainment purposes.
Me: *Enjoying the video quietly, very late, while people are sleeping* Eugene: *Talking about Cicadas, screams* "SOMEBODY FUCK MEEEEEE" Me: *Spits, chokes, and tries desperately to not laugh out loud*
Turns out me and cicadias have a lot in common, we dont do shit for a majority of our life and when we finally have the opportunity we are just out in public like "SOMEBODY FUCK MEEEEE!"
He mostly eats a very healthy diet so I’m sure if he even ate half, he would feel just as unwell. I know I do when I eat fast food even if they say it’s “healthy”.
You dislike my v*deos? Are you just a h8er boi? I say see you l8er boi. Don't watch my stuff anymore. Your dislikes are damaging my good reputation. I am a superstar, dear jo
highkey for Keith's sanity and stomach, he should do an episode in days instead of all at once; like breakfast one day, salads and burgers another day, and deserts another day for example.
The show is called "eat the menu", not "eat the menu in one sitting until Keith is sick". I think if would be totally fine if Keith ate the menu over multiple different days and you just edit it together.
I think that’s ideal for his health but I imagine production would be difficult, they have camera men and all that and doing it across a week or so would be too time consuming
@@alliescholten9238 yeah it literally seemed like Keith couldn't handle the sight of food in the second half n for what it's worth it wasn't enjoyable watching him suffer like that
I have watched this video no less than 10 times. I have to spend almost 3 months in a hotel for a work trip. Cooking with just a microwave is very inconvenient, but the only quick food within a 10 minute walk is the Jack in the Box right across the street. I've been here 5 weeks and haven't gone there because whenever I feel the inclination I watch this video and it goes away.
Former Jack in the Box employee: The tacos are definitely just tossed into the fryer, but the lettuce, sauce, and cheese are put in after they're taken out.
Hey, fellow ex employee! Did anyone ever order a shit ton of tacos at your store too? That was the worst, I always burnt my fingers prying them open so fast for orders of like 50 plus 😓
Gotta love how each guest made him feel better in different ways Eugene calm him down by talking about other things Nee tried to hype everything up Zach made him laugh and Becky was his wife
Keith was straight eating half of most of the early sandwiches in 1 bite. I swear he had the equivalent of 4 breakfast sandwiches to start, no wonder he was so full
Honestly they have too much, what kind of food are they serving? Who knows. Some american food, chinese food, mexican food they need to focus on one and (maybe) branch to a little of something ese
@@9jababy1997 literallyyyy. he always starts taking huge bites (sometimes even taking more than 1 if he felt like he didn't taste enough) and it's like bro....u know ur gonna end up dying
I think he does big bites so he can get everything in one bite. But they should just cut everything in half so he can take a small bite from the center. They did that eventually in this episode but they should have started that way
He got high for them but the joint was way stronger than he expected to the point that while waiting for the food he had a panic attack. He talks about it on the mental health episode of the podcast.
Whatever works for you , I hope you continue to find your balance in regards to your eating look after yourself, listen to your body and love your body
Eat the menu is an already chaotic series but damn Keith in his episode has the most chaotic energy I've ever seen in an episode .. but in the best way possible of course
@@user-bc4sl4ti6i spoiler alert... he DOES die at the end. It’s very sad. 2020 is a real demon. We will miss you Keith. You’ve always been the best, most funny Try Guy. See you next week!
Keith talks about how he was having a panic attack in this video during the “munchies” because of how much weed and he smoked before and I want to hug him:(((
Legit I asked him about if he is planning to do ranch and his response was "Someday! Gotta work my way up to dairy as storage and stuff is much harder! But you bet I’ll make one yet!"
So I read this before watching the video and literally thought there was an item named that and I got so confused but ready and I have never had so many different thoughts run through my head when I actually saw it lmao! 😂😂😂
Yesterday, I watched Keith eat the entire amusement park menu at Knott's Berry Farm with no problem at all. He was food drunk half way through the breakfast menu here!
Keith said on the Try Pod that he will do Cheesecake Factory, but it will be the final eat the menu episode and that they would spread it into multiple parts
