The Grove has been my local for the last 15 plus years. That ain’t Keith’s corner. That was the lady’s lavatory until a refit around 2014 and that area was added as a seating area and the loos moved to near the main entrance. The rounded bar he used to lean against and was photographed next to was torn out about three odd years ago. Currently the Grove is having a refit. All where Keith would have drunk at is now gone, totally revamped in the refit. Sad loss.
thanks for the info! Made a pilgrimage there probably in the mid-90s. Didn't know that pond was where the Rolls ended up. If I manage to make it there again any time soon would love to meet up for a pint.
Yes think it was Vince ? There was a photo online years ago ! It was a nice modern house & it was for sale. Be interested to see what was over that fence.
There used to be a painting of him about ten years ago hung near the fire place, but the pub changed has hands many times since then and that’s all gone. It’s my local btw.
