When i 1st watched your videos you seemed very proud but the more i have seen that you are so right and i have found that The Lord Jesus uses you mightily for the proof that salvation is so easy to understand we are saved by grace alone and faith alone and that LORDSHIP SALVATION IS FROM HELL IT SELF I have so much freedom to live OUT MY Christin life and know 100 percent i will be in Heaven with my Lord Jesus Christ forever and to take as many people i can with me by planting as many seeds as possible for the Lord as possible, I like at all your videos as treasures. God bless you brother Ono.
I pray that way more Christians find your videos it's very sad you get so few views and Evey thing you say is true in GOLD LETTERS and so much I now have so much confidence in GODS word now Why don't more people believe the truth.? You should have many 1000s of viewers. Take care my brother Ono and God bless you.
"you don't have to worry anymore" ... Yeah...thats the whole point of good news. How us the gospel good news if I have to worry about my salvation EVERYDAY? 😂
AMEN! If I must worry about my salvation every day, how is that good news? If I have to worry about my salvation, how is the gospel good news? Exactly just HOW GOOD must I be to get saved or stay saved?
"Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ." Colossians 2:8
“But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.” II Corinthians 11:3 NKJV
He's right about a gift given by man. Poor analogy .... But God! Do they ever stop and ask God? They lower God to human reasoning. I could go on and on. But God. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
@@Redeemed26 AMEN! Also, John 11:25 and 26 (KJV), YES YES YES, I do...WE do!! BONUS: (I love this...watch!) Look at the Word "AMEN..." Jesus said in Revelation that He "Is The Amen..." A - M - E - N: Almighty Maker Emmanuel of Nazareth Amen (for us) is an agreement with Him, yet also, The Word "Amen" means "Trustworthy One" (simplified)! Jesus said He's The Amen...He's The Trustworthy One! OOHHH I Love His Word!!
How sad is it that i visit atheist/agnostic pages run by "deconstructed" Christians who have completely walked away from the faith by the thousands. And one of the biggest reasons is due to the heavy yoke associated with the false Gospel of much modern "religion" in Churches today. Pray that they will be reached with the true Gospel while they still have this opportunity to receive The Lord's "easy yoke".
Hallelujah ex Muslim here from Pakistan 🇵🇰 ✝️ turned to Christ now one by one he's turning my whole family Christian glory to God❤ whoever the son sets free is free indeed 😭✝️
AMEN BROTHER, so many false teaching on Utube and internet, it so sad. I was under calvanisim for about 4 months until with tears and prayers, JESUS through the HOLY SPIRIT led me to His TRUTH of the true meaning of salvation. Keep preaching the gospel brother....GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY
I thought it was funny that when Keith quoted John 3:36 the first words basically affirm once saved always saved. But it makes sense about how obeying God refers to simply believing in the gospel and the Word when you put if all together. That's the interesting part about the Bible, everything is connected in a way that derives more meaning and understanding out of it. Thanks for the Word. This channel really helps.
That's True...Amen! What's more, is that when we finally get away from trying to "put it together" in our OWN understanding, and ask Him for His, along with His Knowledge and His Wisdom, then The Holy Spirit, who is THE Teacher, will Himself show you All Truth...OHH The Beauty of His Word!!
God has given us the Bible so that the humble will find the truth but the self-righteous, prideful pharisees will stumble and thet become worse. Glory to God for His amazing wisdom
@@NikoFinn Truth, sadly for many...and Amen, ALL The Glory goes to God! The Written Word is clear about their stumbling over The Stone of Offense: -------------------------------------------- 1st Corinthians 1:18 (KJV): -------------------------------------------- 18 "For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which ARE saved it is The Power of God." *emphasis mine and: -------------------------------------------- 1st Corinthians 1:23 (KJV): -------------------------------------------- 23 "But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;" The whole of 1st Corinthians can be applied here (context), as it shows WHY they (the pharisaical) stumble, and the "mighty" are foolishly weakened...but ALL for HIS Glory! I'll stand back and let The Word Speak...
Keith does not understand how the law works. If you could lose your salvation then Satan would not have bothered with trying to stop Jesus from being crucified. He would only have to tempt people once and he would cause that person to be guilty and spend eternity in hell.
The devil came not only to kill and destroy, but to steal also. By tempting and thereby distracting Christian’s with the cares of this life, He steals their potential to earn rewards that they could otherwise earn for the Bema Seat. Plus I don’t think he wants us walking confidently and strongly with the Lord, because we are a threat to his kingdom of darkness - if we’re strong in the faith and knowledge, shining the light - we can help bring people to Christ and get saved.
Thank you for sound teaching. We see through a glass darkly that's why there is so much confusion. However, I believe that some people who claim to be Christians are not. They sow confusion on purpose.
Great teaching bro 🙏🏻 The KJV”John 3:36 (KJV 1900): He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”And 1 John 3:23 (KJV 1900): “And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment”
You are a absolutely correct. In fact, the word in the greek is pesteuo, of which the literal translation is believe, not obey. Obey is a modern text mistranslation.
If you don’t believe in eternal security (the all sufficiency of Christ’s sacrifice) then you believe that you must be justified by your own works too. And that salvation is not a free gift, like the Bible says. That you need to either earn it or pay the Lord back. When we cut right down to it, that’s what it is. I hope people realise this. 😢
That which was not obtained by moral perfection, cannot be lost by moral imperfection. --Dr. Michael Heiser Saved and sealed until the day of Redemption by the power of the Almighty's Holy Spirit. Who is there that can snatch a thing from His hand? Not even you.
Thanks for clearing it up! Romans 11:6 "And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.". Galatians ch 3, and once again .... 1 John 3:9 "Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.". This verse is not in any way a license to sin, but a statement of eternal security.
Dude thank you so much for what you’re doing. I’m a Lutheran and seeing people like that guy and others giving people anxiety angers me. The Gospel is clear and you’re spot on with this. I wish modern Lutheran theologians would stop fighting over this issue. It’s very clear.
Love love love that you speak the truth in love brother and didn't attack Keith Nester but instead use the word of God to show the truth. Praying for you bro and all the brothers and sisters in the Lord Jesus Christ. May the Lord bless you all.
If you can loose salvation for committing one sin after salvation, we all going to hell then and the sacrifice of Christ is worthless, but thank god that’s not the case
I know it’s been said in this thread: less flowery… more literal versions of John 3:36 (KJV) do not say “obey.” At the same time I appreciate your well rounded approach by citing other scriptures that DO say “obey the gospel.” Thank you for your bold ministry.
Oh I love you brother , my life has received rest with peace and assurance since I watched your videos and believed the good news and that it is 100% . Keep sharing scripture and the Gospel , I appreciate your utube videos and i find comfort in them
He says "sure you can give a gift away" and he's right! You cannot however give a birth away. Once you are born you cannot be unborn! I have been born again and no one Including God can undo that! I John 3:9. John 11:25-26. Romans 8.
Hey brother, keep up the good work in Christ. I have learned and been encouraged by your videos because they are concise and straight to the point as you keep Scripture in proper context. I felt uneasy the first times I have heard about the whole repent or turn from your sin(s) and you can lose your salvation. I have noticed when one makes a valid question/statement in regard to the Bible proving once saved always saved, there is always this opposition. I noticed that the only modern Bible translations that are well known that stick to believe in John 3:36 are the MEV, HCSB and the NKJV. I used to read the ESV until finding out the calvinist bias.
Ono is such a gem. It is just sad, most of Christendom (at least those inhave read and been in contact with) believe in a works based salvation. And, they rail at you if you say otherwise!
And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
Wow, Our God is enormous and enough! Us pewney humans are deceived continually every minute of every day by satan. Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life. We will not be plucked from His hand. Amen
Pride, pride, pride. I must do something. Me, me, me me. His blood just wasn't strong enough. God gets all the glory. Except when I try stepping in with my offerings of filthy rags...
I had an experience with John 3:36. At my Campbellite high school, the “head of the Bible department” (🙄 not a real title) quoted his NASB and mocked the King James and myself. He wanted everyone to fill in the blank to say “obey,” but I mouthed “believe.” He scoffed with a condescending “believe.”
That is true. One has to choose either the Gospel or the whole Law. But who can obey the whole law. The Christ only. So believing the Gospel is the only option for the believer. God bless!
The Bible leads to OSAS. Let scripture interpret scripture. Mankind is constantly trying to rely on their own works. To obey is to believe the gospel. God's word DOES NOT CONTRADICT ITSELF. Notice: who is condemned in this verse? John 3:18.
Salvation IS the indwelling of AND SEALING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT OF PROMISE AND TRUTH! HENCE,ONCE BORN-AGAIN (SEALED) OF THE HOLY SPIRIT OF PROMISE AND TRUTH! ALWAYS BORN-AGAIN AND SEALED OF THE HOLY SPIRIT OF PROMISE AND TRUTH! SEALED UNTIL THE DAY OF REDEMPTION THROUGH GLORIFICATION! THESE PEOPLE JUST DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE BIBLICAL FACT! THAT SALVATION IS THE WORK OF GOD! ALONE! God bless you brother 🙏❤
I don’t understand how anyone can think any works, good deeds, or actions can do anything to be saved or stay saved. The Bible says there are none righteous, no not one.
Its okay to dump these modern versions that twist the truth and which are employed by guys like Keith to teach that you can, and must, work your way to heaven and have some vague level of good moral performance to retain what Christ *already* purchased for you. The beautiful truth of John 3:36 is this; “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” (John 3:36, KJV)
Not only is the gift of eternal life not like a matchbox car given by a friend, the numerous gifts that I received from friends that I lost were NOT lost because the friend took them back. They were lost because it was ME who lost them but the lost item never ceased being a gift despite being lost by actions that I committed by accident.
The King James version correctly translates John 3:36 as: “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” The words, ‘believeth not’ in greek are ἀπειθῶν - apeithón, which means ‘believeth not!’ Even with the version used by Ono, his other verses still show that ‘does not obey’ means ‘does not believe’. Great job Ono! I also can’t believe that eternal life can be compared with a worldly gift that we can throw away! What does Nester think eternal life is? Some sort of toy we can throw away? If the gift is eternal, that’s what it is! Furthermore, are not the gifts of God irrevocable? Romans 11:29.
@@kikisinozic7475taken out of context bud, read the whole chapter and you’ll see James is literally saying oh you’ve made the claim of faith now show me by your works hence you SEE with your own eyes, a man is justified (saved) by works and the claim of faith. A genuine faith produces works which is why you can believe when someone makes the claim they’re saved
@@kikisinozic7475 you’re completely missing the point, faith alone produced works. James is quite literally saying you then meaning like you as a person not before God, saying YOU VISIBLY see a man is justified by works. If someone makes the claim of faith and then follows it with works that is a good evidence it’s true BEFORE MAN not before God. God knows what man cannot see
@@kikisinozic7475 so are you taking faith in the fact you say God I have an active working faith or are you taking faith in the sacrifice of Jesus and his bloodshed to justify you?
Once you get eternal life the conversation ends. If you could lose it, it wasn't eternal, which would make God a liar when he gave it to you. God cannot lie
Galatians 2:20-21 "I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose."
I think of it this way, yes salvation is a gift only God can grant through Christ. We become born again as believers in Christ DBR. Just as when one is born to parents, a free gift of life: eternal life is a sealing of God upon us, never to be removed, for why call it eternal if it's not for forever?
Amen. Paul never warned the carnal Corinthians about losing their salvation, rather, God’s discipline because they are His Children- ie saved. #osas Blessings 😊
"You can lose a free gift." Is the gift of salvation materialized? Is that something that a burglar can come into my home and take away from me? Of course not.
Thank you! I too believe that I will never lose my salvation. Although, I have a question. I have heard an argument that, the phrase "should not perish" in John 3:16 indicates that the eternal life promised in that verse is not a guarantee, i.e. it can still be lost. How would you reconcile "should" with eternal life?
A great way to debunk that is John 6:39-40. When Jesus says “should not perish”, He means “will not perish” and “shall NEVER die” (John 11:26). 39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but SHOULD raise it up again at the last day. 40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I WILL raise him up at the last day.
Ephesians 2:8 states that salvation is a gift of God, and romans 11:29 is very clear in its statement as well. For the GIFTS and CALLING of GOD are IRREVOCABLE.
