Wow,that song was my favorite song. My first time hearing that song I was 19 years of aged moving into our first Apartment. With my Twin Daughters and their Father in the Spring of 1988. The property manager,she was blasting this song really loudly inside of her Apartment.This song was released in 1987 and Mr.Keith Sweat he had so many fabulous songs🌹 I missed the 1980s music vibe and also the 1970s Era music as well.

My dad is a doctor and he says he sees more teenagers with arteries clogged like he does in his senior citizen patients. We got to do better. Seems like we are reversing in a bad way.

Keith is a prime example of why being blessed with melanin is truly a blessing when we take care of ourselves we are gracefully like Keith. I'm 51 yrs old and people flip out when I tell them my age. I dealt with a lot of stress in my life losing my mom to drugs at the age of 16 and I took care of my 1st wife who was totally disabled for years with two kids but I kept God close I ate well and as African American King I didn't indulge in the drug thing because I saw what it did to my mother and to a lot of the brothers and sisters I grew up around in New Cassel Westbury Strong Island NY during the vicious crack era. My favorite Keith Sweat album was Make it last forever which had classic joints on it. God has truly blessed Keith and me with a youthful look.

I remember being young when "Make It Last Forever" came out. The difference between Keith Sweat sound & the other albums at the time was he was one of the first R&B singers to put that deep 808 bass in his joints. He had your ride slappin', like the Hip-Hop joints did.

I really love what he said about K-Ci, "Sing as the K-Ci from Jodeci, I don't want the K-Ci from K-Ci & Jojo!" Keith Sweat has always been true to the real sounds that pleased us back in the 90's, the vocals and style from Jodeci was always way more stylish than what the brothers did together after the group. Keith Sweat himself always make sure that we hear the Keith Sweat we grew up to, the smooth one. And for that alone (beside his whole style), he will always be my favorite R&B singer.
