If you want to see him tear it up watch the live CMA awards when he accompanies Little Big Town singing “Chains”, he also does an improve vIdeo at a club with Vince Gill and Chris Stapleton playing Keith’s song Blues not your color. No vocals till the end just mostly guitars. Also did a great duet with Pink singing One To Many.
I've been to one of his concerts many years ago. And I've never seen a better live performance of guitar prodigy + good songwriting + raw emotions + amazing vocals. His live versions are 1000% better than than recorded version. And I'm not even exaggerating. He is phenomenal monster in concerts.
Keith is seriously one of the BEST guitar players in country music. And this ENTIRE live concert dvd is amazing. I listen to it often. You should also check out Somebody Like You, Who Wouldn't Wanna Be Me, Jeans On, But for the Grace of God, Where the Blacktop Ends, and he also does an AMAZING cover of Free Falling by Tom Petty from this concert.
Keith Urban is an amazing guitarist.Check out his older music,he does more solos then, than n his music now!! Somebody like u Who wouldn't want to b me Stupid Boy Just to name a few.Seen him n concert quite a few times and his guitar skills r crazy.
You're right Dustin. That's why I requested this version. The way he got angrier as the song goes on. And Keith, I don't know about Tommy Emmanuel but he was inspired by Mark Knophler.
Keith is my wife’s favorite artist, I’ve seen him in concert seriously 10-20 times and I can say the dude is phenomenal live. Usually he’ll do this song acoustic without any backing band and it’s beautiful.
This version is my favorite. The last half or so is juat tailored to a live performance. If you listen to the official video, you'll appreciate this even more.
@Amethyst Jones they're not putting the address on the header now because they have so many. But I don't think many ppl will still be reading these comments & replies so I will tell you the address. Bourbon Country. 484 E. Carmel Dr., Ste 155,
Saw him in concert as part of a multiple singer show. He is not on my top 10 of favorite country music singers, however as a live performer he is hands down one of the best I have ever heard. He is a pure entertainer and as a fan of music I can appreciate that.
Keith Urban is a true musician. He can pick and he can sing. He's covered songs and sang duets with the artists that made a song a hit and he's never disappointed me.
Great song. I watched a reaction on Guitar Teacher reacts with Michael Palmisano to a Keith Urban "Fast as You" video and he actually messes up his instrumental. Keith posted a comment admitting he did mess up but said "as long as you stay committed and screw up with passion, it works". I loved that!
Well this was a candy moment for you Keith! Guitar, A story song that basically says you fucked up, so long.. great vocals and a rye . Can it get better for you than that? Well maybe a better rye. :D He is Australian .
Yes Keith is our favorite Country Rock star! lol And he does improvise when he's in the groove at concerts, which his concerts are freakin amazing... Can't sleep on Keith....1 of the amazing 3 pickers in Country...Vince, Brad and Keith. Yep he is Australian. In the video it doesn't even show him playing the guitar, it's a storyline video.
I’m from TN. A friend works at Vanderbilt and uses a train to commute from outside of Nashville to work. Keith was on that commuter one morning. She said he is soooo cool. He signed autographs and posed for selfies.
My wife and I saw Keith and Carrie Underwood together in concert and they were both awesome. They did the Fighter and also Stop Draggin' My Heart Around as duets
I've really enjoyed this particular reaction gentleman I was at because you could see he was watching Keith's fingers as he moved on those strings and it's a great song.
Keith Urban can be a mixed bag for me. In my opinion, at least in county music there is no better musician currently. His raw musical talent is definitely not something to take lightly. That being said. . . I am not always a fan of his musical style and taste. I adore some of his work and hate some of his work. At times he walks a very tight line between country and true pop. He has some songs that I don't think anyone would consider country except for the fact a country artist sings it. I just wanted to make sure I'm clear, I deeply respect Keith Urban. I think he is a once every few generations talent, if that frequently! But different people have different tastes in music and some of his songs are a miss for me! This song is not one of those misses though. . .!
Keith is one of my favorite artists. I've seen him at Gillette Stadium a couple of times but it was at Mohegan Sun that was the best show. I was so close to the stage I could see the sweat on his face. He's also a really nice guy and gives to a lot of causes. BTW-I've always been more country than rock but I appreciate great guitarists of any genre. Every time you guys mention a band or artist I like to give them a listen. Thanks for that. 👍
I love live music and am not always the biggest fan of video but this official video is one of my all time favorites. The contrast of black and white and color along with the impressions of cold and warmth in it is done with perfection. And the man IS amazing live. He does plenty shredding on electric. This is more about the ballad, the vocals. ♥️ Yeah Dustin the ending was improv. Good call. Seriously, check out the video.
This was filmed here in Australia at The Palais in St Kilda Melbourne. Awesome show. I fell in love that night and proceeded to see him in excess of 40 times after that. I also traveled to America 6 times to see him. Absolutely brilliant artist👍🏻👍🏻
@Amethyst Jones yes I do. You can order from the Vine and table store near them. Or if you want to have bourbon shipped look back at their previous videos and there address is posted

This song got airplay and is the reason I know who Keith Urban is. Liked it the first time I heard it, although this version is extended. Not sure how I would classify Keith. More pop rock than country to me, but I'm not very familiar with his catalog.
Loved that song and your reaction. Keith nerding out is very educational and you can see how happy Dustin is for knowing so much about great guitar players and their techniques. And now I have to Google and look for Molly. Never heard of her.
I was subscriber #31. Since, I’ve been pushing hard for y’all to discover what a brillant Musician Keith is. A master Guitarist, Songwriter, Vocalist and Entertainer. Keith lets music take him where it does so, he gets slammed for not being Country enough. Not true, his passion is Country music…He just has his own sound. And, the most amazing concerts ever!
Raining on Sunday was his number 1 1st hit and then the rest is fell in place Heathen paid for his band to come to America from Australia Because he wanted his own band with him and they were it was awesome and he puts on one h*** of a show live New subscriber God-bless peace be with you much love and respect Is angel in Tampa Florida
Check out "Highway Don't Care" by Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, and Taylor Swift, the live version at the ACM awards. You'll enjoy Keith's guitar playing, especially at the end.
Keith is not mediocre. He is known as one of the best guitarist in history. You need to listen to Stupid Boy live. He goes from acoustic to electric guitar in the song. He is amazing!
Hey guys It may be on an electric and not acoustic as you wished but to see Keith at his absolute best you should react to his live performance "The Devil Went Down to Nashville" Along the way try to pick out some of the songs and artists he pays homage to during the song. More than you could ever ask for.
@Amethyst Jones BCR 484 E. Carmel Dr. Suite 155 Carmel, IN 46032 Alternately, you can place an order for pickup for "BCR" at Vine & Table in Carmel, IN vineandtable.com Be sure to include your song request in a note.
His solo in Stupid Boy is sick! I have seen him at least a dozen times and it would be hard to find a better guitar player live than him! One concert I was at he started playing Raining on Sunday and the sky opened up and dumbed rain! No one moved and he just kept playing!
Keith does a trick of plucking, thumbing, and picking at the same time. I had sent y’all Stupid Boy - live….unfortunately, y’all did the acoustic version. The original version, you get a good view of it.
@@BourbonCountryReacts He's a former protege of Chet Atkins and a multi-Grammy winner. He (along with Tommy Emmanduel and Jerry Reed) was designated a C.G.P. (Certified Guitar Player) by Chet Atkins.
I'm actually enjoying a short glass of bullet 10 year small batch bourbon and it's quite tasty. Lots of chocolate and Carmel and a dry oak vanilla finish. I have a bottle of the 10 year bourbon and rye. Much smother than the basic ones. Awesome song great reaction.
Keith has played with Tommy Emmanuel. Check out any live performance of Raining on Sunday for a guitar shred. I feel like he is best live! He is an excellent entertainer. He also did an amazing cover of the old Bee Gees song honoring them!
Stupid Boy, You Look Good In My Shirt, Sweet Thing, Somebody Like You are some great songs with guitar shredding by Keith Urban. I have seen him live & he is one hell of an entertainer!
You guys should check out these few: Colter Wall, Cole Chaney, Charles Wesley Godwin, Kellen Smith, Sturgill Simpson, Matt Mason, Colby Acuff. I don't have a whiskey, but still highly recommend them.
Keith,I don't know if Dustin would have enough interest, but have you thought about starting a second channel focusing on the guitar aspect regardless of the style of music? You could call it something like Go ahead and fret.BTW Best personal regards is fancy for goodbye like sincerely yours.
you guys should see the oprah interview with gene and paul 1987 oprah asks gene how long his tongue is his reply is classic gene ...... well oprah lets just say i could make you my friend for life ... ever see a black woman turn 100000000000000 shades of red
If you want to hear keith urban and just a guitar you should really check out the link in this comment. I will tell you for the first 10 mins of his playing he sings a little bit of several of his songs. The last 2 mins are of him just playing around on the guitar before he ends with signing the guitar and giving to someone in the audience. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gMZP1HuqMvQ.html
This one? Keith Urban Stupid Boy | Metal / Rock fans first time reaction with Benchmark Full-Proof Bourbon ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2yfjumCkag8.html
Yes, the ending is improved. I would love for y’all to listen to “Georgia Woods” studio version…Keith plays all strings in his studio recordings. This is a great song for y’all to hear a lot. Keith, Country Legend and guitarist Don Williams was KU’s biggest influence.
Someone as in love with finger picking as you are really needs to check out Justin Johnson. Probably not channel material though - he doesn't sing and isn't completely country. But the guitar.....
