I just ordered the pro trigger upgrade kit and the stainless feed ramp. Can't wait to get them installed. I also installed a red laser on the bottom of the barrel that is perfect for this weapon. It is visible quite well in the daytime and of course at night it is perfect. I can fold the weapon up and the laser is not disturbed at all.

For the butt pad try finding one of the old style early style XM-177 butt pad. Works well with the Sub 2K. I put a couple of screws on the backside. It is hard rubber and is not going to go to pieces anytime soon.

Just ordered one and I'm really excited to try it out. I've had alot of ftf's on my sub 2000 gen 2 9mm, and am looking forward to seeing how well it cycles with different kinds of fmjs and defense ammo.

I can't wait to order this feed ramp, although I'm scared to open my Sub back up, it's worth it. I think you guy's should machine a muzzle break for the Sub-2000!

This should be the last time we all have to crack open our SUB's. At least we're all proficient at it by this point! We've had a few requests for a muzzle break and we like the idea. I tried it with a Lone Wolf compensator - made no difference. I guess those only do anything on handguns.

The buttstock pad is needed ! I know the recoil is minimal but that hard buttstock hurt when your shooting for a long time. Also some kind of optic mount that can get out the way or quick detach would be great !

I am so looking forward to upgrading to the steel feed ramp. I have a 40 cal Beretta version and with those flat nosed bullets it misfeeds sometimes. Besides there is something just wrong with a polymer ramp. I've done many of the MCARBO upgrades and they're good stuff.

Yes on the butt stock! If you guys are able to collaborate and design any feature for the sub 2000, march forward. Every single aftermarket enhancement you guys have conceived has been gold! It looks like a very good product and I'm interested. But I have to ask; why don't you at least give an option as buying it as as a polished/optimised product? I can enjoy doing the task.... sometimes. I would imagine that others wouldn't want to do it ever. A guy with a holding fixture, paste and a full size polishing wheel could probably do your entire monthly production in a day. Just a guess and maybe food for thought.

That would be a definite + !!! I'm no gun smith person and the thought of taking my Kel-Tec Sub-2k apart to install the stainless steel feed ramp scares the crap out of me. I'm the type that is afraid to take it apart and not be able to reinstall. I've never done any polishing of feed ramps before, so that's another thing that scares me. Don't get me wrong, I'm a gun enthusiast and love to shoot...and I can do basic disassembly and cleaning of firearms....but to take apart as much as I've seen on this (and other videos) of a Kel-Tec...BIG "OH-NO" for me. I'll probably have to take mine to a gun smith and have him install the feed ramp to my Sub-2k at $40 labor, I guess. * Sighing *

CLIP the side tabs on your sights and then you can fold them down......i have a red dot holo on my sub 2000 with my sights folded down...A red dot totally eliminates raising the iron sights...

Please make an mcarbo recoil pad or improve the stock itself, seems like the lackluster buttstock is last thing to overcome in the sub2k design. Fix that and it'll be golden.

Thanks Brother! New Charging Handles are on the way soon! Really appreciate that. More videos like this on the way. The Bolt Tube Cover will be adjustable by trimming it but is designed for the fully extended position on the buttstock.

Yes...rubber butt stock cover is good but not too thick. Maybe the thickness of the stock magpul rubber. Anyways, looking to buy the trigger and trigger guard but I am looking to opening up my sub2k just once. Stainless feed ramp would be the last item to install in the innards. How soon before it will be sale?

I have to say taking it apart was NO fun I'm use to building/repairing firearms and much more. it was not fun with all my tools and experience behind me. you are now warned. getting the clam shell back together smoothly without feeling like it's going to shatter made me Wana cry. Disassemble and reassembly videos helped out a bunch.

a butt pad would be really cool. the problem with the one that you showed in the video is that it is really grabby on clothes since the sides of it are made if rubber too

On the charging handles, how about making a fat non skeletonized? I switched over to a heavy bolt to help mitigate recoil but even with a pool noodle cable tied to the stock the recoil is rather sharp. Maybe with a heavier and larger charging handle it could be reduced even more.

It reduces the felt recoil a bit. However it is still rather sharp. Granted the S2K is a blowback operated carbine, but I think with a little bit more weight in the bolt it could be more manageable.

has anyone has a failure to feed with a non polished feed ramp? I just put one in and did not bother to polish mine (figured I can always do it later if I have problems). so far no issues at all with multiple kinds of ammo. Never even used the plastic one it came with.

Have you tested the 40 cal version?? My Gen 2 40 cal Beretta fails to feed sometimes. The flat nosed round seems to come in at such an angle that it jams at the ramp.

We've tested the 40 cal Beretta Mag Version and it performed flawlessly! We're really impressed with how well these feed ramps performed right off the machine without any polishing across the Gen 1 and Gen 2 in different mag configurations.

Chris I think I'll text you just let you make the whole rifle. At least let them buy the parts from you that you make, and add it to the shop so everything's not plastic. The important things like the feed, trigger spring kit, basically everything you do. Add another $150. bucks to the rifle and call it a day.

The American flag is presented wrong in the video...when hung vertically, the American flag should have the stars at the observer's top left, just like if the flag was positioned horizontally...and great video, told me everything I need to know and then some regarding this product

I can't help but question if it really is necessary to polish the feed ramp. In your video you talk about 1200 rounds and not a single feed issue and then go home and polish it lol. I mean if it's already 100% what's the point? Don't take me the wrong way I'm 100% in on the polish but mostly for the fact it's purty more so than a "huge" improvement for "feed" issues. Am I missing something?

Hey Brother, great question and I certainly see what your saying. Yes, the New Stainless Steel Feed Ramp is good to go out of the box. A little bit of polishing will go a long way and only make it better. Our goal was to have a Feed Ramp that was a major improvement right off the shelf. If you spend 20 -30 minutes polishing it your getting the most value and benefit out of the new feed ramp but if you decide to drop it right in as is it's still a massive improvement over the plastic feed ramp.

It isn't necessary to polish a feed ramp. It is recommended for certain uses and reasons. We leave it up to the customer to decide if their specific application requires it to be polished or not. Not polishing it from the factory also keeps cost down for the end user.

Hey Brother we're in the process of developing a new hinge optic mount, did you see that yet? Are you asking if the new charging handle will allow enough clearance to fold the MWI optic mount? The new charging handles will be released soon, once we get them plated!
