About a year ago I emailed MCARBO and suggested that they get together with KelTec and sell a high end version of the gun with the MCARBO parts installed. The "M" version is it. Truthfully when I look at all the parts and upgrades purchased for my sub I wonder what I was thinking. I have some "real money" invested in this gun. I could have just bought a CZ scorpion or many other high quality PCC's in 9mm. I don't blame MCARBO at all. KelTec is marketing a gun with inferior parts and MCARBO is making it what it should have been to start with.
Ordered a few parts and decided to get a hammer bushing cause why the hell not. Once I cracked it open to replace parts, I saw the old hammer bushing was already beaten up and took little effort to slide the plastic off even though I had only put a few hundred rounds through it. Glad I replaced it on a whim before it became a problem!
Chris you are spot on, I rolled my eyes thinking about having to disassemble my subs again. And then every time I buy your parts I'm just more and more pissed at Keltec (truth dart sorry)
Consider to whom the Sub2000 is marketed, and ask yourself how often the average buyer will be shooting it. It's more than good enough for the intended market. The problem is that KT doesn't offer a Pro version.
WhiteKnight Leo, I think i understand what you are saying, But aren't All ketecs made this way? If so I think Mcarbo will end up making a killing in the gun parts market.
Looks like I need one. My new optic mount is working out great. Super accurate at 50 yrds took it out to 100yrds and was really surprised how well it did. As always Mcarbo goes above and beyond in the quality of their products. All I have left to upgrade is the trigger and I'll have most everything done( SS hammer pin now too). Very happy with the guys at Mcarbo.
Really looking forward to the day when I buy the M-2000 from you guys fully equipped. I’ve not bought the Sub-2000 purely because of all the work and cost of making it fully MCARBO.
And I just got mine together this weekend with all of your parts and now I see this your killing me lol. I love your products it made mine feel like a whole new gun the trigger in now amazing keep up the good work.
Will you add this part to the all in one pro performance trigger job bundle or just keep it a stand alone part? I suppose it won't matter I just want to make sure I got all parts I need when I do the trigger job.
@@teacopem there are springs, polishing a surface or two, new metal trigger shoe (part you put your booger hook on). I think the upgrade is worth it. The oem trigger feels so spongy that its no bueno.
Happily waiting for my optic mount. I would rather wait to have it done right keeping your high standards then to push it out. Thanks for all the quality upgrades.
@@MCARBO thank you! I told my coworkers I want to pay full price for the optic mount, and they looked at me like I was crazy. Im like you don't get it, these guys make good stuff. Im sad to see the collars go from metal to plastic, ill be stocking up on parts.
The price of the M-SERIES will got up a few bucks to cover the extra cost but we could offer it at the price difference which will be less than the retail price. If you got an M-SERIES previously, give us a call and we can make an order for you over the phone. 888-347-1276
The need to take the whole assembly apart to clean is really not necessary.. it will never fail because of that. It's just to ease our minds and make us feel good so we won't be as pissed cause we gotta pull it apart again to once again replace another plastic part.. what's really bad is we got all these awesome metal parts and the whole damn rifle folds on a metal pin with two pieces of plastic on each side. The plastic folds on the sight mount bolt. That is probably the biggest week point of the entire PCC.
Yes. This part is included in our KEL-TEC SUB-2000 All In One Pro Performance Trigger Job Bundle www.mcarbo.com/kel-tec-sub-2000-all-in-one-pro-performance-trigger-job-bundle.aspx
@@deanbottom I keep thinking if I had a straight trigger it might need less travel in double action, & possibly more speed on follow up shots. Wilson Combat has a straight(er) trigger, but still not totally straight & according to them , does not work w/Taurus PT92. I'm more interested in a trigger for the Taurus pistol, since I have 2 . I'm no gunsmith, but if there is any way to update the trigger for Taurus/Beretta pistols, I sure would appreciate that.
