EXACTLY. A girl has no choice in her body going through puberty which can definitely be rougher than a boy's since all we had to deal with was emerging facial and/or body hair and smell. Girls have to go through a full on menstrual cycle that can be painful and/or discomforting and not to mention the unwanted social attention.

Talking for my own experiences it wasn’t my biological body changing that freaked me out it was how society changed dramatically, what felt like over night. We have to experience harassment and lewd comments when we are still mentally children and it’s actually terrifying at times. Women/girls deserve their privacy away from men.

Places like women's toilets are often safe havens from the, even innocent, gaze of males. The very presense of a male bodied person is sometimes unwanted and is something that should be respected in such spaces. We should be suspicious of the motives of people who don't acknowledge this.
I'm male and totally support women's spaces and women's sports . As a male we don't really fear women are going to attack us , for women this is a very rational fear . He never considers the possible risks associated with his argument (not saying the risks would definitely happen, but the impact these risks could have are rather bad), he doesn't let others speak without interrupting them, resorts to guilt and insults when he's losing an argument/debate, etc.
