@@sav16-n8x def not the best voice. he sounds like a chain smoker. black veil brides is disliked by many people for a reason (although i'll give credit where it's due their first album was a banger) but i'd rather listen to brendon urie do his utterly awful high notes into my ear for 10 hours straight.
@@clifftonl-vuitton2770 Might be yeah, but I can't hit it even using falsetto it's crazy high, and he is using his normal singing voice for that note. Although he is probably belting it.
I love kellin and his voice is a blessing but I think he can't put his best out sometimes. And I think his voice gets tired pretty quickly because he avoids harder parts while singing.
Try to sing EVERYday about 2 hours for 1 MONTH or 2. Especially powerful songs. I don't know about you but my voice is broken after going to a concert. Don't wanna imagine what it feels like after such a long tour. Many singers avoid the hard parts to save their voice.
@@98Sabsi many artists can do that and consistently. Plus no artists today were as worked at people from 60s 70s 80s and almost all could still still at their best consistently
I used to criticize this man back in the day for being unstable live, but these days the guy is insanely good and VERY stable live. He's sooo good. Major respect.
I love the band and their work, and I think Kellin definitely has talent, but I think he strains his voice too much trying to hit those high notes. In a lot of their live acoustic performances, he's not straining his voice so hard, and it comes out a hell of a lot smoother. I find that this happens to me a lot when I sing too. If you focus and try really hard to hit the notes perfectly, your voice often comes out strained or shaky. Whereas if you're more relaxed and not thinking too much about it, your voice ends up sounding better.
GingerGuy96 I have the same issue, can sing in the shower great but if people are listening or I’m trying it’s bad, also I think part of Kellin’s straining is probably anxiety
If there wasn't video evidence, I would not believe that this guy was the one who sung for the Sonic Frontiers OST. I need voice training lessons from him...
he strains his voice too much :( like his voice is fucking amazing, but all the jumping around makes breathing and hitting the high notes super hard. anyways Stan Kellin
He sings that in if you can't hang before or instead of the "imagine that" scream part. I think he doesn't like to scream that part anymore :c but he does it once in a while tho
Does anyone know a song from quimn that sounds like the opening from “king for a day” if so PLEASE let me know I know there’s a beat from his 1 of his songs that sounds so damn closely to the opening beat
He's a tenor altino/contraltino, a sub category of the leggiero tenor, differently from the countertenors that uses falsetto to sing with a female voice, these kind of voices have a natural high tessitura and a feminine tone in general from the middle of the voice to above.
He is an artist and a singer in which it's better to listen to the studio in a live performance no offense to him I love his fucking songs in the studio but concert is nothing but disappointment in my eyes from a vocal standpoint
Just stop. Dont come here spreading hate. Ok? Just bc you don't like his voice or you think its bad doesnt mean you can stay hating on him just keep it to yourself
I mean... He sings good but it doesn't sound like the album, I was like omg he sing beautiful and all that stuff, but after watching this... I'm really disappointed
