I remember these - but sadly, I didn't remember just how exquisite the sculpts were. Geronimo, for example - that's an extraordinary face, so full of life, but also world-weary and sad. Awesome. As you say, some great toys given away with cereals - I was a kid in the mid 1960's, and can remember some great TV tie-in ones. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍👍

Your observation on the faces is so true. I was researching the stories of the chiefs it’s heartbreaking. I didn’t realise how many photographs were taken of them at the time. Thanks for your comment

GREAT VIDEO SIR,IN THE LATE 50S AND 60S YOU GOT SOME OF THE BEST TOY SOLDIERS AND MODELS FROM SENDING IN CEREAL BOXTOPS.SAME THING WITH COMIC BOOKS,GOOD TIMESBACK THEN. GOD BLESS.

Thank you I enjoyed painting them. I spent a lot of time cleaning the old paint off them. Dances with Wolves opened my eyes!
