That's me, the brunette with shoulder length hair, and Nan Harris & Brenda Stewart. The J. Walter Thompson Ad Agency in Chicago cast us during the filming of New Performers '71 on NBC-TV. We also filmed in Lawrence(?), Kansas in a cornfield and one other location. "Kellogg's put me through college" was my mantra.

Thanks so much for posting this! I've been looking for this off and on for years here on RU-vid. I absolutely loved this commercial during my early grade-school years and never forgot the song. It's wonderful to see and hear it again after all these years. If only Kellogg's would just bring back the larger size, which was so much easier to chew, and that super-tasty brown sugar and cinnamon variety. Yum!

During the Bicentennial, there was a cartoon commercial where Yankee Doodle rides into town on a pony, bringing Mini Wheats. A Redcoat tries to lasso him, but lassos a passing train instead.
