Poor thing. I feel bad for the pop star multimillionaire. It really stinks people talk a bit of trash that she took a weightloss drug but acted like her fitness routine made changes
Well she decided to lie and say that it was walking and dieting that was the reason she dropped a ton of weight in a short time. She didn't have to lie but she chose to. How do you not know this very basic fact?
My Medicaid covers Wegovy. I have a BMI of 43 and have been seeing a Bariatric Center for almost a year. They were just able to get the medication in stock and have me approved to be on it because I am considered obese, have high blood pressure and am at risk for other heart problems. So far, I have only had 2 injections and have lost 10 lbs. However, I radically changed my lifestyle the same week. I committed to it. I joined a mental health program, quit smoking marijuana, started eating clean, smaller portions and started going to the gym at least 3 days a week. I am SO grateful for this medication. I know I've only been on it less than 2 weeks but I feel so much more hope. I'm only 31 and felt so lost in life with no job, no friends and no family. I want my life back. This is the start of that.
I'm happy that the medication has helped you so much! I have pre diabetes and my doctor suggested i take medication but my insurance won't cover it unless I have diabetes.
Sure but now there's the phenomenon of Ozempic face where you'r facial skin sags and ages as a side effect of the drug 😬. It's important to discuss these side effects and maybe why regular weight loss is so difficult for ppl
there’s also a shortage for diabetics who actually need the drug cuz rich people are hoarding it because they just don’t have the discipline to lose weight like everyone else without a medical issue. and studies are coming out showing side effects for non-diabetics that take it. the ozempic backlash is absolutely warranted
Nobody is entitled to your medical information. However, let's all have an open conversation about weight and how it isn't just about calories in calories out.
Yes! Yes! Yes! Also, telling people to eat healthy and organic is just not a reality for many people in this country! Fruits and vegetables are mad expensive. We really need to have an open and honest discussion about weight!
WTF doesn't know it's only about calories FFS?, Toddlers? most adults know that diet AND exercise can do wonders, but doing just one will only do so much.
No one needs to reveal their medical information, however, there is a way to disclose that I'm taking some medication that helps me lose weight... since she has chosen delete such a public life and her appearance is part of her Business and Professional life and she makes money out of it so the people are curious... and she lied to the public blatantly... she was so coy about it and said she's just eating better and exercising🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 this is why the people are upset because she was gaslighting the public
@@camy3018 No one is saying eat organic and organic only, there are tons of affordable healthy options available at every grocery store, but lets be real when you go to the grocery store tell me you don't see people loading their carts up with tombstones, doritos, cocoa puffs and all sorts of other sugary and fattening BS on top of a few 12 packs of mtn dew or coke, those are choices and nothing wrong with being honest about it, that's why we have an obesity epidemic FFS one that equaled to the avg American packing on 27 lbs during the pandemic which is embarrassing. I would actually love to have a POTUS With M. Obama's mindset, get the Fast food BS out of the schools because thats teaching the kids the wrong habits and it's not unusual to see a few Veruca Salt types rolling around every schoolyard.
I completely understand why people would be upset. When Kelly lost all this weight, she gave credit to watching what she was eating and working out. There was no mention about a weight loss drug and this was over 2 months ago. Why lie about it/ hide it? You're going to get criticized anyways because you're in the public, so just be honest from the beginning!
No She didn't, these vain celebs are using a med meant for Diabetics and some Diabetics are having a hard time getting the med because some vain celebs can't be bothered to eat right and put in the time in the gym So they're taking the med for a short cut, the celebs taking Ozempic are lazy plain and simple and it's hurting people who need it, so people have every right to complain.
Walking is way better than nothing, especially if you have bad joints. But something that elevates your heartrate, like swimming, biking or an elliptical, is greatly superior for your health.
One hundred percent agree with Sara! I just thought, why isn't she telling the truth? Someone whose obviously had trouble for many, many years with weight problems all of a sudden slims down practically overnight. It makes others feel, why can't I do that? I really like Kelly Clarkson by the way, and her refusal to tell the truth (until being prodded) really disappointed me.
Umm she literally said she takes a medication, on her own, just cause she didn’t come out with a statement when she first lost the weight with how she did it doesn’t mean she’s been Keeping a secret or needed to be “prodded” like it came from her own lips. And it’s her business.
@@gagecarlsen3872 The problem with this generation is they put so much stock in celebrity and what they see on social media. Common sense dictates that what you see isn't always what's real. If you looked at Kelly Clarkson, a wealthy celebrity with tons of resources, and felt bad about yourself because you couldn't achieve that, that's your problem, not hers. I found her transformation inspirational, however she managed it. And I am overweight.
I am super happy for everyone that gets access to the medications. It really sucks fot the ones that desperately need it but can't afford it and don't get access to it. :(
......And if one of those problems is they can't get Ozempic as a med because celebrities are abusing it, then what? they should STFU? because Oh the poor vain celeb doesn't want to hear the whining of the not on their level diabetic folk.
honestly, I love Kelly, but regarding how she handled the issue, I am mildly let down, but it is my own business and I won't enforce my opinion on anyone else.
@@helenmayberry6010i agree! I love Kelly and her voice!! Was just listening to her album yesterday! She’s my type 5, but it’s ridiculous that she lied about her weight process. I dunno! It’s none of our business so maybe Don’t speak about it. I think it’s a little irresponsible, but she feels more comfortable now to speak about it! So I dunno 🤷♂️! I still love her beautiful soul and her voice!
@@TheDarkDressershows how uneducated you are. Not one of those ads are they are all AI generated.she stated in a live she gave NO one permission she use her or her photos for anything. That she is not going to give medical advice to anyone. They even talk about it on her show with Meagan Trainer doing a odd candy eating game they stole the part Kelly eating a chocolate cover candy. Like the one with kelly talking about her popcorn she sells the ads has her holding a POPCORN BAG saying it is gummies. Her on Jimmy Fallon in the show she was hold a coffee mug but they replaced it with a bottle of something. How stupid! Maybe before trash people learn 1st!
I’m getting semiglutide from a compound pharmacy….. 295 month….. I love it! I feel like a normal person now! Not hungry all the time, craves rarely. Let people do their own thing.
Years ago was selling Victoza (the older 1x day injection version) Nurse had a huge patient 6'10" 420lbs . Mid 30s. Diabetes , high BP the works. He was not going to see 45. Went on Victoza and lost over 150 lbs in 8 months. Diet improved, came off insulin (did not need it any more) came off antidepressants, doses of other meds reduced. Nurse was nearly crying telling me all this, she had treated him for 15 years.
When you tell the truth there is no reason for anyone with a brain to go after you. And Whoopi has health issues; she almost died a few years ago. She needs to lose that weight, especially around her midsection.
They chose not to touch how previous cast member Starr Jones insisted her extreme weight loss was from vigorous dieting and exercise but the truth came out that she had the ‘gastric bypass’ surgery or whatever it was called. There wouldn’t have been so much verbal backlash if she was honest about it to start imho
Your last sentence isn't true. Star quit the show at the HEIGHT of the "If you aren't a Size 0, you're fat!" movement in the 2000s. She and her weight had been lampooned on SNL and MadTV for YEARS before she lost it, and even after she lost and maintained it, Barbara Walters revealed conversations and secrets between the both of them regarding Star's weight loss journey.
The issue is not that she used a medication that assisted in her weightloss, and known to help with weight loss. The issue is she flat out DENIED using any medication that assisted in her weight loss. She said "I've just changed my eating habits". Bull S. She thinks we're stupid.
Who cares? It’s your body, and if someone asks you a question about your body, and you feel like saying what you want to say about YOUR OWN BODY then that’s that persons business. It’s nobody’s business!
and? How does it affect you and me? It's her body not mine... it's her decision what she wants to put out there. Her words don't affect me. So why does it matter to you? You sound like you love getting into people's businessmen when it's NON of yours
Thank you! The backlash has nothing to do with her using it. It's that she lied and said she lost weight by walking and cutting calories. And all the women on this panel except one came to her defense stating people shouldn't be attacking her for using the drug when that was never what people had a problem with! Even the one who made the valid point criticizing people who say they lost weight through diet and exercise when they actually used an injectable then turned around and said "but this isn't against Kelly!" Why isn't it against her? She's one of those people! She should've been honest from the beginning and said "yep I needed pharmaceutical help to lose weight" and people would've respected her honesty. None of the celebs using it are being honest other than Whoopi and that's what people are fed up with.
@@gagecarlsen3872Go watch her show!!! She sure effing did deny it. She said she was eating better and walking more since moving to NY. And that's it. So you have no idea what you're talking about.
Kelly stating that she has thyroid issues. It affects your metabolism greatly. And that explains why her weight is always gone up-and-down as long as she's happy.Like who cares what these people think?Having an issue with your thyroid is actually kind of serious
She went through SERIOUS stress with her divorce and she got full custody of her kids plus she has a career. Stress can literally mess up your metabolism and make you stuck. I'm so happy for her that she found something that helped. When you look better you feel better and it can change your life, especially your love life💗 you go girl!
She NEVER said she wasn’t doing it. She just never said she was until now. In fact she previously said she “started listening to her doctor because she was pre diabetic” months ago. Funny how people dont mention that.
The reason she gets backlash over her weight loss is because she lied initially about how she did it. She said she took acv gummies and people spend $300 plus on these shark tank gummies each month, that she promotes. Is THAT fair???? NO
She didn't say she never took those though in her new statement, it's possible she took both The issue is also people think when a celebrity says one thing it encompasses everything Kelly also said she took the medication for health reasons , it's likely she was taking the acv for weight loss and the injections at the same time And lost weight and assumed it was the acv No one knows until she clarifies
I totally agree with you and by her going around telling people that's how she lost weight women are willing to spend hundreds of dollars because if Kelly can lose that much weight with those gummies as she claims she did then they must work right. Why lie about it in the first place
I didn't see the full interview of Kelly interviewing Whoopi, but in this clip, notice that Kelly never said what she was taking, only that what she's taking has helped her. She appeared intentionally evasive,. I have seen those gummies ads. It's similar to celebrities who, after getting a face lift, begin selling a line of anti-aging skincare products.
I agree, but don't lie about it either and create unrealistic expectations for other. Be responsible with your platform. If someone asks and you don't want to share then just say none of your business. But lying about it is worse.
Im 62 and i just started exercising 9 months ago. I have depression and anxiety. I'm still the same weight but its more muscle now. There im bigger and stronger than most people my age. But im homeless and poor. I don't begrudge anyone who gets bigger and stronger than me because of steroids. Too bad it's not the same for women. I can't believe or understand why anyone would get on kelly, even if she didn't tell everyone she got help from injections and said it was natural. You can't blame someone's mental health on someone else. As woopy said, no one knows the hardship of someone else's life, even if people look up to them. Just my opinion. Oh and people see me smile all the time and workout hard. People don't know that the pain in my depression and low self esteem, is why I smile all the time and workout so hard. Lifting 400lbs is nothing compared to trying to lift myself out the door every day.
@deemichelle Dee, that's what I mean. Even if she lied about it, it's her business and she has her reasons. In the 70s and 80s, my friends didn't tell me they were using steroids. It wasn't as open as it is now. Now I know why my friends were bigger than me. I'm not mad( now that I know) even though I envied them. They had their reasons. We don't know what pressure she has in her life. I guess I'm in the minority. And that's cool too. 😊
@@justmejenny7986 thank you Jenny. Everyday after I work out I feel better. 🤣 it's while I'm working out I wonder why I do it. Have a wonderful weekend 😀. ✌️
That’s why it didn’t make sense that she just did a traditional diet. It was obvious. I said from the start that I just wish she was forthright about it.
Well, my doctor just put me on Ozempic yesterday. I am very overweight and have been. She didn't put me on it for my weight, she put me on it because it stimulates your pancreas to produce more insulin. I am type 2 diabetes and have for the past several years been on two different insulins simultaneously and one of which is the max dose twice daily. The other is not max dose, but is a very high dose 3 to 4 times daily. She put me on the Ozempic so that I can back off on the amount of insulin I have to take. If I lose weight on it, well that is just a side benefit.
insulin résistance and excess adipose tissue (fat) go hand in hand. you're kidding yourself and others with a mental word salad if you think the amount of insulin you need has nothing to do with how much extra weight you have on your body.
I enjoy The View and watch it every day. Today, talking about Ozempic, it is nice to hear that people have lost weight. There is another side though in that I had been taking Ozempic for two years for diabetes. I was not able to get it for three months last Fall because of the shortage due to people using it to lose weight. My sugars went from the 6's to 15's which is so dangerous.
This topic is very sensitive to me. My problem with this is people who are otherwise healthy and taking these medications to look better, while people like myself who is diabetic with a host of other illnesses can't get the drug because there's a shortage. I really have an issue with this. The folks who the medications are meant for can't get it because of unavailability or cost.
BINGO! Ozempic is not supposed to be prescribed for weight loss-it’s for reducing glucose levels in people with type 2 diabetes. That weight loss is a fortunate side effect leads doctors/patients to prescribe/ use it “off label” (ie, for weight loss) which leads to shortages. Folks then turn to another product in the same family and deplete the supply of that product! And so on. There ARE products that are indicated for weight loss, but people don’t use them because the weight loss isn’t fast enough. BTW, people who take Ozempic for diabetes lose weight because it signals satiety so people eat less. However it’s been found that folks using Ozempic off-label are developing gastroparesis (the stomach doesn’t empty). They may feel full and eat less, but now you’ve got a new medical problem that requires its own treatment.
Kelly said she was pre-diabetic. Her blood work was not good. Her doctor recommended the medication earlier, two years ago actually, but she didn't take it until last year.
Actually, no people take it to lose weight because the other medication‘s that are approved for weight loss are actually significantly more dangerous than these drugs. Medications have a host of other anti-inflammatory effects that can help with a persons well-being. This is not like taking insulin. This is not like taking metformin. This drug could be made more available in the shortage could stop. It’s about the greed of the insurance companies, and the people who have the patent on this drug. FULL STOP. The ingredient is available and could be synthesized to make up for the shortage. They don’t want to. Again, everybody gets some education, get some compassion, compassion, and for God’s sake, redirect the blame where it belongs
That's why we can't get it. Ppl who buy it to look good, yet I miss a shot or anything and it could be my life. I completely agree. Ozempic was not made for weight loss. It came out for diabetic ppl to control their sugar. There are ways to control sugar. This med is an excuse to be lazy healthy and not work for it.
That’s all of America. If you have money you can get it. Don’t blame Kelly Clarkson or Whoopi. Blame the health care system in the USA and the insurance companies that mandate prices.
The company simply cannot manufacture enough to meet demand. To do so it would have to convert all of its insulin plants, but that would be completely unethical. A new factory takes about three years to come on line, they are making tonnes of money but the trained people to build such things are in a very limited supply.
The pharmacist told me that the company supplies to the highest bidder in other words if cvs gives them a higher profit than they will make sure cvs is supplied before rite aid or any other pharmacy. To those companies they are back ordered.
Started Keto the month before my 55th B-day and my period stopped that same month too. Thankfully it did not restart. Lost 30 lbs over the next several months. I also have MS so really no exercise. I've also done many things over the years. My heaviest was 90 lbs more. We all can have many different health issues. I don't think anyone is a lazy glutton. We all can do our best with what we have.
Kelly never lied. She has said she's more active in NYC, and ONE of the things she loves to do is walk around the city, among other things. She also mentions that she's been working closely and listening to her doctor, which, let's be real, implies medication. REGULATED medication. Most medications work best accompanied by diet/exercise changes. Kelly has battled health issues since she was in her 20's, and has been open about this. But she has always been very careful not to "endorse" any of her treatments or "lifestyle" choices, precisely because she knows EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT and shouldn't feel like there's one-size fix all solution. Edit: Also, people are dumb if they think the takeaway from that conversation was that she took meds for weight loss. That's not what she said. They are talking about health struggles and what that did to their weight. Kelly said, she takes something to help break down sugar in her body because her body doesn't do it properly. That's clearly insulin resistance, which, given her issues with her thyroid it makes sense. Whoopi and Kelly aren't glam bots trying to fit into a size 0, they are managing their health and that is no one's business at any level, even though both have disclosed at least that much.
Semantics. Don’t do an interview about your huge weight loss and conveniently omit the tool that made the difference! Kelly has dealt with weight fluctuations in public for years. I’m quite sure this isn’t the first time she’s incorporated walking and some type of diet change. It magically worked and within a few months you have dramatic weight loss like we’ve never seen you have before? Come on. It’s harmful and like Sara said, it feeds into the cycle we’re trying to break out of. *Her taking it is not the issue, intentionally leaving it out when talking about your weight loss is*
Isn’t it just the best?! Trashing someone. In the hopes you’ll feel better about yourself. Except it never works: People keep doing it… because they never feel better. 🙄
She has been working out. Not wanting to tell the world your health issues and medications you take is perfectly okay. No one is entitled to that. She’s brought it up multiple times that she was sore from working out.
I am morbidly obese. I don't have diabetes. I don't have bad cholesterol. I don't have hypertension. I do have MS and no thyroid. These will not go away if I am not obese. Will I feel better? 100% and leave Kelly alone. We need to stand together and stop shaming ppl
Sara Haines having to explain to Whoopi that Kelly lied by omission + the implications of doing so. Either be completely silent abt it or be honest. Kelly has every right to take a medication but don't say, Oh I walk alot since moving to nyc.🙄 Truth bomb by Sara Haines✨️
Excess weight can lead to serious health issues. Anyone who takes the steps to better their health even if it requires medication like these weight loss injections is simply trying to better their quality of life. Nothing wrong with that. Health is wealth.
Agreed! I changed my lifestyle in high school & dropped 60 lbs. in about 4 months with diet and rigorous exercise. Although I was incredibly healthy & in the best shape of my life at 16, I shocked my previously obese body in such a short time frame that I calcified my gallbladder with gallstones. I had to have my gallbladder removed at 16. 15 years later, I unfortunately gained all the weight back and an additional 50 lbs. and I just started Wegovy 2 weeks ago. I will be monitoring my right side for pains and symptoms because I’m so acutely aware of all the side effects of fast, extreme weight loss. Gallbladder attacks were by far the most painful thing I’ve ever experienced in my life & I would wish them only on my worse enemy.
I come from a well known family & struggled with bulimia & annorexia for over 20 years. It’s hard being in the public eye. I am now dealing with my insides literally rotting. My gallbladder, liver & pancreas are all failing. I praise whoever can get meds to help.
In the United States, we're grappling with an obesity epidemic driven by the prevalence of highly processed non-food items that pose significant health risks. This stands in stark contrast to many other affluent nations where individuals prioritize whole, nourishing foods that the body can effectively metabolize and utilize for optimal health.
She originally did say she lost weight by only eating better and exercising. We felt betrayed because she was saying this is possible if you have the willpower. Instead of lying don't say anything at all.
Betrayed? It's not that serious. It's her body and her health. It is possible to lose weight by eating better food And smaller portions. She didn't lie. She don't owe anyone any explanations.
Ladies, thank you for this. The world needs to hear this. My favourite key point: not asking a man about his little blue pill. Spot on! 👏🏻 ❤ Cheers not jeers. ❤
❤️ you look amazing 🥰 don't let nobody tell you different. You set a goal , you accomplished it. You let others ❤️ know you can do it too ❤️ go Kelly!!!!🎉❤
I know someone that had WLS and I was told ..........don't tell anyone I had it. I said what do you mean? What are you going to say when people start asking you how did you lose the weight. She said I'll just say I changed my diet ........... I was shocked. THEN I realized that hmmmm she got that information on a message board where others had said the same thing. This was a couple of years ago. Ant THAT"S when I realized that people were out here just not telling the truth about their weight loss.
Because they don’t want the judgment. There are so many people out there who treat you like crap if you have WLS instead of doing it natural and they don’t want to deal with it.
I think people are criticizing the fact that she never mentionned it before..she said she was walking and doing other things... But I agree its her life her Journey ❤❤❤
And if you’re criticizing someone for not wanting to disclose your health issues or medications you take, then something is seriously wrong with you. You’re not entitled to that.
As someone who has been misdiagnosed with type 2 twice and now has the right diagnosis and medication. I was on a medication called Gliclazide, which doesn't let sugar come into the bloodstream, I was on it for a time and it did make me lose weight, worryingly I didn't have that much weight to lose, which led me to have the correct diagnosis, which was LADA. To make the medication work, you have to exercise, so when someone is taking a medication that makes anyone lose weight, you can't just lose weight on medication.
glicazife is a completely DIFFERENT class of drug to the ones they are now discussing e.g. ozempic. Don't compare apples with oranges. You can lose weight without exercise on the latter. Hope you changed your doctor and became more assertive in your health seeking experience. Glad you got the correct diagnosis. Medical negligence is endemic.
I am taking Ozempic for weight loss per my doctor. I do have a lot to lose. I need to say that it is not as easy as eating less. I have tried for over 40 years to lose weight, using every diet imaginable. I tried exercising my butt off. I lost and gained back the same 50 pounds a dozen times. It is a terrible way to live one's life because the feelings of failure and loss of control were awful. But using this medicine has been so freeing for me because I do not battle with cravings, constant hunger, and nervousness. I, too was concerned about the side effects and had heard all the horror stories. But in exploring further, I found out that many of those horror stories were as a result of people trying to losing weight quickly by taking too large a dose right away. This is what would cause the stomach and bowel paralysis. Eating a good combination of fruits, veggies, proteins, and carbs also guarantees that there will be no tummy troubles. My doctor helped me get connected with financial help through the pharmaceutical company and I get my medication for free. I am very grateful for this generous accomodation, and encourage anyone else to explore this with their own doctors..
i take ozempic, i struggled for years...20 years....and i was pre diabetic and had mornid obesity and high blood pressure and high cholesterol. i just had the best blood test i ever had....lost over 50 pounds so far...its been great...
I don’t care that she’s taking the medication but telling someone that is also trying to lose weight it was just walking is dishonest and honestly it’s sad just be open and transparent
But have you thought about maybe IT WAS JUST WALKING when she made that statement. Yall be so hard on these people. Kelly is just minding her business and doing what she needs to do.
People are upset because she was LYING about it pretending like walking in New York City was doing all this which is a joke.... The lack of transparency and the absolute lying is why she's facing the backlash....
I thought she mentioned a while ago her doctor was after her about her weight being a health issue she had to do something about and mentioned medication then, plus walking more in NY. Its her body, her business what she says about it.
She didn't lie. She indicated something that was HELPING with her weight loss, not that it was the ONLY thing. She said in a lot of different interviews that the walking helped along with diet and working with her doctor. She was very upfront about her doctor recommending steps to get her weight down, and also being pre-diabetic among other things, she needed an aid to get her weight down. I don't think Kelly is taking a shot, but rather a supplement that can only be prescribed to help break the sugars down. My endocrinologist has me doing the same thing (and clearly, she has a thyroid issue, so that's what the endocrinologist does along with metabolism help) - she doesn't owe anyone a health breakdown, but I think that once she's worked out any kinks, I think she would probably share the details. Maybe she wants to have a public conversation about everything once she's able to get to her goal weight and maybe document for herself any of the side effects, drawbacks, and positives before giving it an all-clear to share? Worry 'bout yo' self.
@@Snarkerella Sounds like at best she lied by omission, at worst, just lied. She knew people thought she lost the weight by walking. And that's the problem, people who will try her walking approach, risk feeling ashamed when it doesn't work for them because they don't have all the information. For you, you don't have to disclose how you are losing weight, this isn't about your average person disclosing their medical history. This is about people with a platform that are making money from selectively disclosing their medical history. Kelly should worry about her fans that give her a career and misleading them.
I love Kelly and feel bad that no matter what she does people will make comments about her. If her doctor says she needs to take the medicine then she needs it. It really is not any of our business and we need to show kindness and not make huge issues about weight gain loss especially when they are in the spot light. It can be very hard to be told you are not skinny enough and the person is a size 6 which for most Americans is very small.
I am not a fan of Oprah. But AT LEAST SHE is honest about her wieght loss. She wants to help those of us that have fought the same battle. I think Kelly needs to do the same. Not a issue of privacy. I have been on Ozempic for a while, because I am diabetic. Not a picnic A LOT of gastric issues For a while I had to "wait" because of nondiabetics...THAT is when I had an issue. Same thing happened with Phen Fen. Sorry, so long.
ABC.Whoopi. Totally agree with you! Such a beautiful girl Kelly, good for her shes tiny now, as long as she feels healthy. I'm sure shes not going to jeopardize herself, she has children & loves them so much. Keep it up Kelly & focus on ur Career.
Becoming a member of WW at the age of 16 and being a yo-yo up and down dieter all my life... at the age of 56, after menopause, I rejoined WW and lost 115 lb in about a year and a half. I have maintained that weight loss now for 14 years even losing an additional 10. No medication just watching what I eat and getting my steps in and keeping active. I do track what I eat daily and at present I am counting calories. I think the key to my success this time was looking at this journey as a forever way of life... NOT a diet. It's not easy... and what I did is not for everyone...but for me it works and it's my own personal story. I always say you do you! People need to do what's best for them to be healthy. Also to be aware of what's in the foods they are eating. And most importantly To Love Yourself.
The issue is if you are going to put out information... Put out all the information. If you are asked, dont just say walking when you are also using a drug. And if you dont want to answer, don't answer. Weight lost is hard for most people, so lets all just be transparent when we can.
Health and/or weight loss is a very private goal and/or struggle for people. Don't judge. To each her own. Everyone has to do what is best for them and for their health.
Kelly always looked to me like someone with a low thyroid. Whenever mine gets too low it shows in my neck. A goitre appearance. Having a low thyroid does make it even harder to lose weight. Good luck and well done to Kelly.
I definitely don't care whether people do Ozempic or not. My thing is when they lie about it. "I'm on a juice cleanse! ;)" I'm with Sara on this one. These people should be ashamed for knowing the struggle of losing weight then misleading on how they're doing it.
I haven't seen people mad over her saying she lost it through exercise. I've seen people mad because they saw her advertising weight loss gummies. They don't realize the ad was fake/ai generated. That wasn't Kelly's fault.
People need to stop lying nobody loose weight drastically that fast that’s why people get annoyed . Just say if u took the shot if u did not lying saying u walk . She looks great tho
