Kelly Marie Tran made history in “Raya and the Last Dragon” as the first Southeast Asian Disney princess, and she explained how it’s been a “strange” time to talk about the groundbreaking movie while there is an increase of anti-Asian hate crimes in America. She hopes that the uplifting movie can give people a little bit of joy during this tumultuous time. The actress also talked about living at an endangered wildlife reserve in South Africa, and what it was like traveling to Vietnam with her parents, who hadn’t been back to their home country for over 40 years.
