Reform are a nowhere party. Around a third of the electorate are moderate centrists who vote Labour, Tory and Lib Dem. They are never going to vote Reform as you can imagine. No one wins elections without those voters. We all need to get out of our echo chamber and make peace with the fact that a LOT of the UK are not 100% with us. Only the Tories can win on a ticket that includes all facets of the "right" plus pull in most of that 33% centrist vote. Reform are dead-on-arrival, you've just not realised. You should NOT take it personally. And that doesn't mean the Conservatives don't need to take their fingers out.
60,000 party members and growing, the Reform horse flew out of the starting trap weeks ago, the conservatives are at the back of the rear with a lot of catching up to do
They lost under his leadership, he didn't listen to his ministers with regards to immigration, and many MPs lost their jobs as a result. He should be held to account.
Kemi is a joke ! if she thinks by saying the right thing it qualifies her as leader she is more deluded than i thought, she supported Rishi all the way until voters told them what for
People seem to be totally unaware that the markets were already moving... Even Kwartang had not had that policy they claimed wrecked the markets then they would have found some other reason... Oddly (or no surprise) when Hunt did far worse we saw NOTHING... But Hunt was installed , just as Sunak was installed... Then along came Cameron... Says it all really!
@@BrexitChickenWings4u That means Nothing really , people vote for the Party and not the person. (Broken system , although the system is broken in a great many areas and you only actually democracy if you use direct democracy).
Kemi Badenoch Is one of the people I would NOT return to the Tories for. She was another waste of space all mouth no action. Bye bye Tories there is NO return.
Kemi is another one that said " Reform voters are good people, but they dont know what they voted for" She was the first one to say that. Then a labour MP said the same thing. No thanks not interested in Kemi..This shows that she and the Labour MP think that we r thick.
A lot of Tory members that would have voted for Suella or Kemi this time around have left the party for Reform. The lurch to the right may be too late, the remaining members may be wets.
Print Patel are you serious. Does Julia and the media ever wake up? It needs someone who had nothing to do with the last lot. Nobody who was involved with all the chaos should be mentioned. Time for totally new faces.
Anunziata is correct. The Conservatives would have lost anyway, but the campaign was incredibly poor. Sunak is responsible for that. He also failed as leader before that. Steve Baker might well be correct that he is intellectually capable of handling the law making and deal brokering elements of government but it's pointless if that is spaffed away on the minutae of government. He's a follower not a leader, and looked out of his depth. Not as badly as Truss, but even the most committed Tory voter had to be concerned about voting for a party with no discernable direction.
@@PW-zs2yx we all have our own opinions I'm only saying about Kemi there was no way I could vote for the conservatives as they had lost their way as a party. We are all allowed an opinion and don't deserve to be criticised for having an opinion.
@@andrewbayram765 of course it could, us the voters had a raw deal as the two main parties didn't really have anything on the table to get our votes and Reform are very new so a very tough position to be in for all of us. Let's see what Labour do they might surprise us 😂
@@PW-zs2yxOK, so you believe that “the Tories can never be trusted”, do you believe that they shouldn’t be the main opposition party to the Labour government? Do you believe that a government with no opposition (also called a dictatorship) is a good thing? If the answers to those questions is no then the Conservatives need a leader & Kemi Badenoch is likely to be a contender for that position.
Considering the parliamentary shenanigans/corruption vs the membership, who exactly do you think has the wiser position ? Especially if you are even pretending to value democracy, which this commmentator clearly isnt.
Fo the umpteemth time there is a vacuum at the core of the Conservative Party where there ought to be a philosophy of conservative government in the national interest. Conservatism has found a new home in Reform UK. The only person I have heard admit this is David Frost.
I'm a lifelong Conservative voter of a right leaning, self determination and responsibility mindset. I wouldn't vote for any of the names currently being put forward. They need a new batch of centre-right candidates to get my interest. This country has moved way, way too far to the left which is why we are in the mess we are.
It seems the words she used would be favoured more if it came from a man, ive heard some say some outrageous things and taken as being competitive, strong and entering but if a woman talks like that its oh no this and that, anyway no point in crying over spilt milk its over never woulda shoulda coulda. NEXT PHASE PLEASE
The Tories need to move back towards the centre. You can't win an election with just your own supporters, you need to bring in independent minded votes. Do this, and you'll win.
Nonsense they lost because conservatives voters moved to a conservative party (Reform). Labour, libs, green and the tories all share the centre (globalists).
Appoint your Brother as.......oh wait that jar of formaldyhide got booted out of the very place that he thought he had a god given right to be. Oh dear.
@JohnDoe-wu4tt I and my family would not vote for te Tories with that women as leader. BUt then again we will never vote for the Tories ever again RIP Tories.
