The pair of summer gloves that I've had way too long now, I got at cycle gear and I had to modify the thumbs because of too much material. Just turned them inside out, cut off what I didn't need and sew it back up, worked like a charm, they fit like a glove :)
Bilt is a brand by Cycle Gear, and yeah they have that same finger length problem on some of their models. It's a crap shoot. But they're build quality is not bad. I too like. Joe Rocket for comfort and fit.
Great review... (I Rich) have two pair of summer gloves. The Gold Wing gloves and a pair I purchased from Cycle gear. Both are good but not great. I really like the Gold Wing gloves because I get to show off the logo.
Mechanic gloves were really my first set of riding gloves......i almost started not to even post this review, but i agreed to do it for the company.......the fit is fo these are just not good...but DO fit my son ok.
Good, fair review. I have the issue of too much finger length in a lot of gloves, and it drives me crazy. I guess I have short fingers. We need something like M Tailor for gloves!
As always, appreciate the reviews. I personally prefer finger-less gloves in the summer. No particular brand just something with a padded palm. In the winter I like a good wool or cotton glove, they soak up more snot than leather :)
I did similar in sizing so I tried ia large and although a bit tight the large stretched out and the finger sleeves fit perfectly. I use Dainese yellow highlighted model. Like the brand, quality, fit and construction. I do have the winter kimemoto’s though.
Thank God! I finally you see you have a pair of riding gloves in your hands Double M. Gotta keep those ivory tickl’n fingers safe my brutha. That last couple of vids I been seeing you out and about without hand protection and these gloves for the price would work as extras to keep in the Tour-pak for those times when you leave home without’m. I wear Lee Parks Deer Sports and Held Bolt gloves and love them. Ride safe and ride often.
I wear the Klim Induction glove. Yeah i know i know $$$$$ but man are they comfortable. And they fit me like a glove. Lol. Ive had them about 2 years so far and they are holding up great. And i live i Florida so its summer almost all the time here.
MemphisMike i have a Klim Jacket as well. Its the Blade model that has been discontinued. Not the greatest for summer riding. But it is gortex so its waterproof for our summer rainy season. And im happy with it as well
MemphisMike definately watch for sales on last years models when the new models come out. November to December. Thats the time of year i bought mine. I believe i saved $200 over the regular price
My next jacket / pant / glove combo will Klim. I know they are pricey! But, like I’ve said about helmets for over forty years now, “How much is your head worth?”...... yes, we have a closet full of Arai. And a few Shoei too. Both are great helmets. Light & Quiet!!! Lol.... ride safe my friends....
Excellent reviewing on the gloves. I ordered the winter gloves in the largest they had and they were a little small for me. I also use the Joe rocket mesh gloves and they do okay
"Some of you guy's out there are cheapos" lol your killing me ......Great review but I alternated between a Roland Sands leather perforated light weight and a Joe Rocket Goldwing summer glove. Great video!
Great video as always Mike, but hey I’m going to stay with my joe 🚀. Yeah I pay for them, but they fit.... like they say, like a glove.🤣 appreciate ya bud! Looks like you need a drink after all your hard work and honestly 😉💫. Keep your 👀 open for a package 📦
I'm the only vlogger in America who hasn't been comped a pair of those gloves. 😂😂😂 Great review Mike. I appreciate the good and the bad. Seems like if they trimmed off the extra finger fabric, they could charge a little less. I enjoyed the video review.
