I had the same smile on my face with Guidos JCM800. Also the LP from Rigbusters free pack, the Soldano SLO 100 is killer. A great addition to the magic kemper. Cheers Frank
Im not sure if its the same profile but i have also absolutely fallen for one of the jcm800 liquid profiles, not even a real JCM fan but the one ive been using is the only profile ive used last few days, just rocks balls!
For Metal there's Keith Merrow, Ultimate Metal Kemper Profiles, Silent Underground Studio. I'm waiting for all those to release their liquid versions. Also, I'm at production mode now and I've seen people post some nasty errors with their Kempers on Facebook, so I'm waiting for the stable version.
Sounds amazing. Excellent video on walk-thru. I subscribed. That single rectifier profile sounded killer. Do you have that available for download/purchase?
Thank you very much! It's in the Guido Liquid Profile Pack. I'm planning to do my own profiles with my Mesa Single Recto but haven't had the time to do so yet. ✌️
Killerchops and playing! You put out a really friendly, funny, likable vibe, and just subscribed because of it. Keep it up brotha! BTW, you totally remind me of an old friend Derek Roddy who's an amazing drummer and guitar player too.
Thank you very much! That makes me happy. I know Derek, well not personally but I liked him in Hate Eternal and of course I watched the Dream Theater audition 😄. That's a huge compliment for me bro! 🙌❤️
Sounds great. I think we need to be more specific and say “80’s Metal Profiles”. Otherwise everything will sound like a bee in a Coke tin 😂 Guido is one of my favourite profilers. But I am also enjoying some of the profiles/effect tone packs from Thomas Dill. He takes the profiles and adds effects etc to recreate specific guitarists tones. Great for the gigging musician doing covers of many genres.
Thanks for specifying that Jim! You're right, nobody wants the bee in a Coke tin sound. 😂 Thomas is doing an insane job as well, that's for sure. I find Guido's latest Liquid Profiles are just on another level! 🤟
Thank you so much! Indeed it‘s the Crunch Lab in the bridge and the stock IBZ/Di Marzio neck pu that came with the RG3120 models which were produced in 2000 something. ✌️❤️
@@schorschharrison thank you brother, i think i will put crunch lab on my ibanez RG721, now it still have the stock pickup. (cap-vm1 & vm2 ) , i'm thinking about crunch lab or tone zone on the bridge
@@schorschharrison hi man, i just order crunch lab , btw i saw your video from 13 years ago ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CPuibRVziv0.html , is this the same guitar and pickup that you're using ?
Tried that but it didn't fix the gain issue unfortunately. But I see it more as a feature than a bug. The gain knob now is way more realistic than ever before! 🤟
Thank you very much! You can see Mesa every now and then on E-Bay. The maintenance could be a problem though. As long as it's just regular stuff like tubes etc, every amp tech should be able to do that I guess.
Speaking of the Jcm 800 Profiler: Why do I have so different sound with the same parameters as you? I can't get that beautiful organic, full-bodied distortion! My sound is a simple crunch! My guitar has a Seymour Duncan SH-6 set. Something is wrong! 😔
the friedman ir x is the new kemper slayer designed by evh's personal tech not a fucking keyboard player ,with real tubes and great tones out of the box .sounds way better and more natural than any modeler could ever sound, can work with your favorite effects and with a power amp and speaker and has an effects loop .
The Friedman IR X for sure is a killer unit (haven't tried it though) but It's a different animal. I don't think the two devices have to compete with each other ✌️
