Video Tutorial about the use of Expression Pedals and Switcher (Basics) with the Kemper Profiler. Produced by Thomas Dill (www.d-tunes-music.de) Voiceover: Ben Crosland Translation: Hans-Jörg Scheffler
I got my Kemper power rack running through my mesa 4x12. My expression pedals are not working though. Is there a setting I need to change or something to make them work?
It would be nice if a "Basic's" vid showed HOW to get to the "pedal link" mentioned at 2:50. Love the sound of the Kemper but these video's need work...
I TOTALLY agree. I am controlling my Kemper with a BJ Devices Midi foot controller. I can't find any tutorials for my configuration to set up Wha, PEDAL PITCH or any other.. using my midi foot controller's attached midi pedal, bypassing the pedal input jacks. Not the same functionality in my opinion. I could be wrong, but I never am..
3 questions: 1) Can you assign Wah, pitch or volume changes via a morph too? And if so, is there a difference in effectiveness, speed or linearity of the changes? 2) Can you assign multiple simultaneous changes via a single expression input? 3) can you store the assigned expression effect per patch?
Bas Vredeling 1. No, via morphing only post volume or some pre fx volume parameter but i didnt found a fully operational pre volume in any fx. 2. morphing can cange all continuous parameter at the same time. You can have morph wah and patch at the same time, without option to auto disable morphing if wah or whammy is activated. 3.yes and no. If you want to use pitch and/or wah, this patch needs to be without morphing. But no way to use this pedal for volume in other patches with the setup needed for that..weird.
You gotta give it to Kemper. As great as it sounds it’s functionality is just as bad. I have watched several videos now and I still do not know how to successfully connect get the Wawa pedal to play on my kemper stage. The volume pedal works fine and that’s it.
