I love ken mainly because of how creative his combos can be, you don’t just have to follow the same ones

Ken combos are actually insane

It would help to show an input guide with the combos. Especially for character like Ken. It just helps in general when it comes to combos later in the video that involve doing RAR aerials.

Ken combos that start with DAirs and end with inputed Shoryukens are what I live for.

1:58 I would just like to point out that the tatsu (side-b) used in this combo is a special tech called "Late Cara Canceling". Not only is this tech limited to a 5 frame window to perform a down smash and then an input special move, but to specifically get the boost for tatsumaki, I believe you have to do it frame perfect. It might be a 2 frame window, but definitely not 3. To perform this tech mid combo is just blowing my mind right now. Goes to show that even after playing this character since week 2 of the game being out, I still have much to learn.

0:23 pretty good sheald bracke punish at 0 and 0:28 a nice 0-60 combo

at 0 percent you can also go for late hit nair -> light down tilt -> light up tilt -> down smash cancel into tsatsu you have to be super close yo your opponent (not granted against fast fallers) light up tilt -> light proximity tilt -> shoryu works well late hit nair -> heavy proximity jab -> NOG -> grab -> down throw ---> up air / heavy jab -> roundhouse kick things I use as a ken main : put your c stick to tilt attack if your looking for how to do multiple down tilt and shoryu here's my technique : run, quarter circle down, c stick down three times as you wiggle your in the diagonal down angle then press B always go for at least one down tilt be fore shoryu if your opponent is on the ground

This video is inspiring me to pick up Ken (Ryu wasn't for me) - however, and I think someone already mentioned this in the comments, if you could show the buttons that are being input, during the animation, that would be really helpful for us to practice.

The only thing I'm dissapointed is that Ryu's Nair was given to Ken.

This video is really cool and I'll try to master all of these combos but could you maybe show some additional info on the screen maybe? Like which versions of the special moves work or if an aerial has to be performed near the ground or fast falled etc. Otherwise, I love it and I really like your channel in general.

Honestly, Ken is a really fun character, but all of his inputs definitely makes him one of the most difficult characters to learn (at least in my opinion). I'm debating if I want to pick him up or not (I know all of his inputs but I'm not sure how well I could learn him).

I need you guys to hear me out. He's making these combos only for pro players, not any new starting players. Example of a beginner combo: Oh don't mind me I'm just gonna jab jab crescent kick down smash, but you should already know what that is! Yeah, 90% of people who don't play this game competitively are not gonna know how to do that. THIS, however, is an example of a beginner combo: jab jab up b, it's simple, and it confirms into a kill, anybody can do it. Another example would be jab jab side b, that's also easy to do. These "beginner" combos aren't very beginner at all, it's more: "Oh hey I studied the advanced mechanics of the game, know the landing lag of my character's moves, and studied his advanced combos to perform these "beginner" combos."
