Im only 33 but I've adored Ken since the first time I watched on TV with my nan what an incrediblely funny, witty, humorous, and gentle hearted man he was and I adore his singing he had a beautiful calming voice and is missed very much ❤ RIP Doddy you will never be forgotten xxx
This clip of a rare talent is why we will miss Ken Dodd forever. This is what a 'star' is all about - not these 'reality' people who don't possess one iota of talent. He was on earth to simply make people happy.
He knew how to make us laugh. Don’t be over clever in life. It’s a path that’s really quite easy to follow. Submit to the simple things in life and you will be fine. Good luck on your journey.
In my opinion the greatest all round entertainer the world has seen.Who else could sing and tell jokes to such a high standard consistantly for 50+ years.
I've loved Ken Dodd since I was a child I'm 60 years old and managed to see him live twice. I'm glad I did. He was bloody funny. In my opinion the very best entertainer in the business. Love him. Miss him. Pure genius.
Arrrrr sir Ken Dodd God bless him Im too struggling to cope that Doddy s gone without his laughter and joy and happiness and his jokes the world isn't even a world without Doddy anymore sir Ken Dodd God bless him we will always miss you so much Richard and Claire sweeney

Makes me cry this does ... it reminds me of my dad who i lost over ten years ago , as i used to watch this show of Ken Dodd with my dad .. god bless Sir Ken thank you for the many years of laughter and tears ... what a True Legend Always ..
This is probably going to sound stupid but I cried for three months straight when he died my heart broke into a million pieces and it was like all the laughter in the world had suddenly gone, thank you Sir Ken Dodd for all the laughter and happiness you brought me over the years 🙏🌹❤️
It's not silly at all. John Fisher's tribute at Ken's funeral summed it up when he explained the wonderful world Ken created at his live shows and how the audience was transported there. It is sad that we can no longer go there. We used to go every year because we loved him. RIP
@@34tohayes thanks, I saw him live about 9 times last time I saw him was at whitley Bay the playhouse theatre every single person in the room was laughing and so happy, it's sad that he's no longer here but I guess heaven needed him more, Rest In Peace Doddy 🙏❤️
We have lost a true National Treasure. The world will never be quite the same without him. Absolutely unique and universally beloved, we will never see his like again.
I was in bad humour few minutes ago and when I put ken do on I could not stop laughing helifted my spirit he's still here with us in spirit so keep on smiling ken❤️
What a man what an entertainer gone but it will take a long time to forget the greatest entertainer the world has ever seen. Just look at ken he is pure kindness and love. God bless you Kenneth.
Oh Ken you had such a lovely voice and all the years that you performed not a swear word, a curse or taking the piss out of someone famous, you kindness showed through to all the audiences that saw you. We miss you, we applaud you and above all we Thankyou. RIP Mr. Dodd. ❤
he was a legend and no one will ever toch him or come anywhere near but his voice is pure velvet god bless you ken the nation will never forget you xxxxx
The world lost an absolute gem when Sir Ken passed away. I lost count of the times I worked with him doing the sound and the lights in the theatre. Even though it was the same show everytime, it always had me in stitches. RIP Sir Ken, you are greatly missed.
The greatest and most talented comedian that ever lived. His memory for jokes was phenomenal and almost beyond belief. His singing voice was beautiful and he was also a ventriloquist. Maybe not so good at the latter in a technical sense but his conversations with his Didi Man dummy Dickie Mint were absolutely charming with the act playing on the fact that Ken could not do words starting with B. He was truly the last remaining link with old time Music Hall and variety. He will be sadly missed. Ken: Would you like a nice big brown bottle of bubbly brown beer or a shandy?Dickie Mint: A shandy.
Well said John - I cant watch any clip without crying my heart out I had the pleasure of chatting with Ken many many times in the past and he will be deeply deeply missed by all his fans and friends.
You never miss it till it's gone and we certainly do with Ken Dodd, never to be replaced and the best entertainer this country has had and what a singer.
I saw him on stage in Wolverhampton a couple of years ago. I took an overnight bag with me (her name escapes me at the moment) as he's notorious for running into the early hours of the morning. I wished I had his energy. He has a love for his audience and it shows. A terrific night of great comedy. Thanks Sir Ken.
Bluestar 3 months ago (edited) RIP Sir Ken. Passed away Sunday 11/03/2018. So many happy memories of the best comedian of all time. Good night God bless.
OMG! I was upset when I heard he'd left us, and actually grieved as if I'd lost a beloved friend. This has just reminded me of the true extent of our loss, and I'm off again.
RIP sir ken Dodd this was my favourite song along with tears , happiness and absent friends you have that well earned rest ken we will miss you forever no one comes close .
So very sad to hear of Sir Ken’s passing, this man was a genius who will be missed by many millions who he gave lots of happiness to. Rest in peace Sir Kenneth and thank you for all the fun and laughter you gave us spanning over 60 glorious fun filled years. 😢🇬🇧
This section of an Audience with .... is (in my opinion) possibly the finest bit of entertainment EVER full stop PERIOD!! The top of the profession at the TOP of HIS powers!
