Zoe(Zo) Osama, he was actually lit, so not sure how y'all didn't remember his performance. The next one Kalan(Kalen) FrFr(For Real For Real or 2FR). Have no clue how y'all didn't remember RjMrLA. He came with the energy. His was super lit, plus he performed a classic song of his that everyone knows & you could hear the crowd singing his song.
Kendrick is top 5. This year has cemented it if it wasn’t already obvious imo. He’s proven it for 12 years. All this it’s too early talk can’t go on forever. Just look at his body of work, what he’s achieved, what he did this year. Can’t deny him anymore.

The West Coast has been creating the best high level album quality music for a while now. The mainstream narrative that ATL has been running the game is bs to me. After Future what other artist is a high level album quality MC or rapper? Not naming Cyhi? Nip gained more ‘popularity’ in his passing not respect. I like The Game, but he's certainly moving shady. That Drake bar was certainly a sub for Kendrick. It's Drake saying he believes that if he made conscious albums, he'd take Kendrick's fans. One of Kendrick’s people definitely confirmed that they weren’t rocking with Game and he wasn’t invited. There’s clearly tension publicly at least since the Super Bowl Halftime Show. Game also aligned himself with Drake in this beef and dissed Ross. It’s obvious there’s something to that situation and Game pretty much confirmed he wasn’t invited.

And Kendrick asked them what other artists they like and Ice Cube said Drake, but then all his interviews where they asked him specifically about Kendrick, he would purposely add Drake. Maybe like 5 interviews and then the beef happened and he started again then lightened up in his tone. Kendrick gravitates to Geminis in the music industry but it’s a reason he doesn’t to Ice Cube. I think he said every time they ask Kdot about top 5, he doesn’t mention Cube so I think he’s a little resentful. But Ice Cube’s son supports Kdot openly. Not sure what going on in the West but we are a mess sometimes.
