The most effortless, smooth and beautiful swing EVER in the game. In an era full of steroid abuse and “sluggers” making their name on the long ball, Griffey could keep up with any of them NATURAL. Out of all his accomplishments, and their are many, grif’s most amazing achievement imo is that in a game full of cheaters he was able to keep up and still rise above all of them and be the best in the game. Dear lord imagine the numbers Griffey would put up if he was on ped’s.... but he is class and did it on his own merits

I remember opening up the original Upper Deck packs that were 1st received at Smokey's card shop hoping to get a Griffey Jr then I got 1 and immediately sold it for it 12$ and bought more packs :)

Thank you for doing this with JR. He is and always will be my favorite baseball player to ever live. I wish i could have gotten to watch him play live but i never missed a game on tv.
