I watched nearly the entire trial and would like to state for the record that you should seriously reconsider your programming. People aren’t stupid. We can see and hear what is happening and don’t need self-important, biased “analysts” to tell us what is happening or what to think. I appreciate you carrying the hearing and unlike some outlets, keeping the comments open. However, by now you should have figured it out - the people are the experts, not washed up, out of touch, over-paid suits.
I watched nearly the entire trial as well, and agree with you. The hypocrisy of criticizing the republicans for voting party lines while supporting the democrats for doing the same thing is just astounding. It is not journalism, it is just partisan propaganda
The house managers response is come out and say the very same things without any admission that their 'facts' were proved wrong. THIS is why people don't trust them.
@@joseph17372 And you are just an example of why our country is so messed up. You guys never admit to ever being wrong, you just repeat the lie. That or you actually have no idea how to deal with facts. I suspect no matter what the facts on the ground are, you will always feel the same as long as your FEELINGS tell you that you are right. Let me give you an example. For months the media, the house managers and everyone on the left have been pushing the lie that Paxton was trying to get the State to pay for his court losses. Even I bought into that. if I had a case against me and I lost and then tried to get the state to pay for it instead of me? I would expect to go to jail. But in the last few days I learned that Paxton Had NOT even been the defendant in ANY CASE. Instead it was His office that had been charged. And I dont know how to tell you this but in such cases ,everywhere in the world when the government loses a case? The GOVERNMENT pays for it. But here u - and others like you - somehow did the Mental Gymnastics required to claim HE was personally responsible for paying for it. Which is Contrary not only to law but common sense... And then try to blame a Jury for not agreeing with you!! PEOPLE SEE THIS IDIOCY for what it is - when you try to push it, don't you realize that? I watched each minute of these proceedings. I saw the prosecution's case taken apart by facts. Facts the prosecution did not rebut. Instead what I saw was a group of people who's bad assumptions and personal feelings snowballed into a political weapon that others tried to use. Paxton tried to go after a weaponized government, the government fought back, and lost. This is something to celebrate.
@joseph17372 They were proved wrong. WHERE is the crime???WHERE is the indictment???? WHERE is the conviction??? God Bless Ken Paxton. This witch hunt failed.
The lady seems to be unaware of the power push of the Uniparty/Bush vs Republican Patriots.... I know she is liberal & stressed with this outcome... she had high hopes. I hope this is the first volley to stop the uniparty in this country. BTW, this has been a pretty fair panel on the whole and these proceedings were well run and seemed to be fair to all... that is something I truly appreciated and I wish we could see more of this on a national level.... so very tired of partisan media with one-sided reporting. But, she is still liberal... :-)
“Patriots” would not have voted to keep a corrupt politician in office. They would have put the state above their party, which they failed to do. Learn the difference.
At this point, i don't believe that any news reporter can feign ignorance about what's really going on. Kari Lake said that when she worked as a reporter, she was basically given a script to follow on what to report and what not to report. At the very least, most reporters know they report truths and omit facts, but they go along because they're more concerned about protecting their careers than telling the truth.
Par for the course that media is biased. I’m glad these talking heads are disappointed. Tells me they are allergic to truth and incompetent within their profession.
I deal with this all the time at work being at the top is lonely but also you are subject to attacks from anyone who feels that you are where they want to be or because your making them look bad
The House rushed to a witchhunt! The House did not follow the rules, period. Go listen to Dan Patricks speech. Mateer was too radical with his religion. There’s a big difference between being a Christian and being religious.
You are wrong on all your statements! The house followed the rules and law, Dan Patrick doesn’t know the law, he’s a “fake” judge(that got paid $3million dollars by donors, which he collected on with his slanderous speech). You have the Christian and religious thing the other way around! Look up paxtons EXTREME religious donors, Wilks, Dunn and Stickland. The whistleblowers have integrity, honesty and humility. You people who can’t see the immorality and lack of integrity in Paxton, need to look again. Don’t forget to check out there donors
While you're stepping over drug addicted homeless people on your way to your $10 sugary coffee drink thinking youre better than Texas. You cult leftists and your pathological lack of self awareness.
So as ususl prosecuuors fet a criminal to sabatofe smand lie about the innocent in order for them to get themselves a lighter senence or woped away all together..is thos whst Nate was involved in??
Maybe the U.S. should let Texas secede from the rest of the country. Between their exceptionally honest people and competent law enforcement, they would be absorbed by the Mexican cartels in hours. They would no longer be an American embarrassment.
Sixty-two percent of americans said they have not very much or no confidence in the Supreme Court; when they asked about politician and justice, they laughed
The streaming messaging consisted of a lot of Toddlers crying "Injustice" that Paxton was acquitted. The left packed the place hoping to see a win and they came away with a great big **L** The sound of "RRRRRRrrrEEEEEEeEEEE ..." was heavenly.
Well honestly if you think about it, these people spending a good part of their day dropping commentary on a live stream all week... do they not have jobs? I know this is an overly broad statement that certainly has many many exemptions... that is to say I am sure many great productive members of American society, retired citizens, and people that in general this assertion does not apply to also watched and commented. However, when I had moments to tune in throughout the trial, I noticed people making good comments. People asking good faith questions, pointing out things they noticed, general political discourse, etc... Then you saw mixed within the comments these mob style cries to lynch Paxton, completely irrational, often ad hominem laden, and clearly emotionally driven attacks at anything a AG attorney did, and conversely reverent worship to anything the house "prosecution" attorney did. These often had no correlation with the real world. Many of these users would disappear if you replied to them by name and challenged their comment with anything requiring critical thinking, link to evidence refuting it, or really anything more than there own comment, which were simplistic partisan chants usually with an ironic level of narcissistic confidence. This pattern became very obvious as the trial went on.
And Ken Paxton had said that Dade Phelan should have resign because he was drunk on the job......but he should have taken the stye out of his own eye🧐 before he judged Phelan.Heck look what he did....🤨....even was womanizing on the job even cheated on his wife and did what he did to his own advantage.
@@sweetsummer2458 corrupt, racist, and delusional is no way to go through life but you do you little star state. 🇺🇸BIDEN🕶2024🇺🇸 🇺🇸Liberal & Progressive Blue Wave too🇺🇸
Wow. Who wants to bet a bunch of the Texas state senators will discretely be receiving some very nice donations in the near future. Paxton was as guilty as Texas is big.
It's funny how the narrative changes depending on who is in the cross hairs. When it's a MAGA Rep, the narrative is "there is overwhelming evidence of guilt". When a Dem is in the cross hairs, the narrative flips to "there isn't any evidence". The Communists never give any evidence that a MAGA Rep is actually guilty of something. They just get a soapbox to talk about morals, like they have any to speak of.
Please tell us this evidence. It wasn't in the trial that's for sure. Intellectual dishonesty is worst of all the vices, as it allows you to commit the most vile acts and merely lie about them. Shame you're intellectually dishonest.
FACT. for Dan Patrick-Because some rules may not have been followed, doesn't mean a person isn't guilty when sworn evidence is given. Paxon was GUILTY. PERIOD. Most republicans that i know don't believe in the rule of law and that they are above the law.
