He really gave us a preview of the album. Great moment because he is probably in the mindset of pimp a butterfly which we all know how goated that shit is in rap hip hop literature etc
At like the 2 minute mark he starts singing about the same guy from hood politics. He literally said no matter how many times he shows him the Eiffel Tower he stays the same. It's the same story as hood politics. No matter he stays the same.
Most rappers just memorize their verses so they can always spit a decent "freestyle" good rappers who freestyle alot would always have a freestyle verse ready and ever-changing, but never really written down.
Considering the rest of the verses are from TPAB, there might be a studio version of this verse out there somewhere. Hope it leaks or gets released one day
luke long ye i hope so too, i’m pretty sure this was a song too cuz he spit a small chunk of this verse on j Cruz show and said it was a verse that didn’t make it not because he didn’t like it, but because their is a few brutal bars in their and I’m pre sure this is the full version of that verse. The part where he spits “I watched a homie watch his son smoke I seen the sun set on my set I seen one 'Ru and one Loc, one slip and one played him close Everythin' subject to change Nowadays, the Compton Crip car kill each other Faster than an opposite color Homies whack out everythin', you're dead, homie It's your mother, your uncle and brother If God was a Loc, he'd probably had one comin” I think these are the bars he was referring to when he said that.
NitsuujYT yeah I just found that last night. I think he mentioned that it was supposed to be the second verse on a song produced by sounwave and Terrance Martin, which might be king kunta? I wonder what it would sound like on there
luke long damn I didn’t even think of that when he said it was produced by them, could be, but I think the lyrics from this verse don’t relate to what king kunta was about I could be wrong tho
I know how people work i know the price of life i know how much is worth i know much to never forget till i realize i dint know shit🔥 This mtf never miss 2023🔥
I am trying to figure out if he is just spitting out words that somehow come together to create incredible rhymes, flows, or is he rapping with layers upon layers of metaphors, similes, allegory, hyperbole. I think his raps are over most peoples heads. Like they have to be studied in a college course like some of the great historical writers. I think there are so many layers past the surface it would take great research and study time to understand the full depths of his lyrics.
@@MOMO_dakING Most freestyles aren't bars off the domes tho. You write, write, write and then write some more and then you cut like 90% of what you've written and from those last 10% you get these bars.
@@dyls6052 no man, artists put their freestyles into songs, not the other way around, especially kdot. his head is a whirlwind, check his other freestyles shit gotta be also written then 😂
Hamisi HUCHO bruh this isn’t a freestyle the 2nd 3rd and 4th part are all from his songs off the album To pimp a butterfly and I think the first part is written too, he can’t really freestyle in my book... if he does I’m sure it’s written most of the time. I still love kdot
@@GonGit18 yeah, but don’t get me wrong it’s all love with Kdot but his freestyle game ain’t really there. I think the video when he was rap battling on the streets in Compton back in 09’ is more impressive & dope than any radio/host promoted freestyle.
FreshSteelo9 for the sake of hiphop culture, I straight up don’t believe in that shit😂 I mean I know he’s don’t off tops and written that weren’t used anywhere else or in tracks but I wish there was more. Take for example someone like King Los, Juice WRLD, Tory etc, they have freestyles that are as memorable as some of their best songs. I’m saying too much lol, I just like freestyles from artists, it helps solidify their talent and status IMO
The definition of a freestyle is a written piece of word meant to demonstrate skill. It’s not meant to be off the top lol but that’s what it is now tho only real hip hop fans know
