There's a reason so many people consider him to be the GOAT. If he wanted to be a popstar he could easily do it. But he respects the artform too much to water his music down. His albums may not be as easy to digest at first. But if you really sit down with them you realize that his albums are masterpieces. They're Inspiring. Educating. Heart breaking. Kendrick is the greatest artist of our lifetime. Appreciate him while he's here.

Mariah&WhitneyLamb Books aren’t the only source of knowledge. Kendrick himself said he rather talk to people instead of reading books. It’s about experience, love it or hate it, mainstream music now is super easy, it doesn’t actually require any effort and that’s why people put too little effort for the money only. That’s why the majority don’t respect them. You see people like Kendrick and you know he has a genuine passion for his craft, he obviously still does it for money, but he put effort to make a good product that will survive the challenge of time and not ear candy that will wear off in a week or so.

It’s funny Kendrick says he’s the biggest kid of them all because you can see it when he talks about music. He gets this twinkle in his eye and this smile on his face like he’s just so happy and full of curiosity just like a kid would be.
