Kevin Durant is the best player in Team USA history. Whenever he has stepped on the floor internationally for team USA, he has brought home the gold. He has won gold regardless of whether LeBron had been on those teams or not. KD has 4 international gold medals and is going for a fifth. LeBron has three gold medals and has played in more international tournaments than KD has.

I feel like a lot of people don’t realize that international basketball has a closer three point line than the NBA, perfectly designed for KD’s midrange shots to now be three pointers. Team USA is so deep that the only way they lose is if the opponent gets hot from three. KD is the perfect insurance policy on that as he can always match it.

Perks last point about embiid is spot on. Watching the younger players interact with Lebron and KD is revealing. You see Ant loves their practice time going against his idol KD, checking lebron, naturally learning from them. Embiid has a completely different energy.
