I suppose it shouldn't amaze me, but for some reason it still does how so many people fall for such an obviously false, dangerous and deceitful teacher. Jer 5:31 perfectly describes Copeland and his followers.

Funny you fail to note that has also been taught throughout time from Athenasius to Spurgeon that I have record of and a thousand other men of God that teach what Jesus taught. You lie when you attack Copeland in this way.

The 'we are gods theology' was taught BY GOD in Genesis - David in the Psalms, Jesus in the Gospel and church greats from that DAY to now - Athanasius taught it and we have that WRITING - Spurgeon taught it - and we have that writings - so WHY the attacks on Copeland when this is ANCIENT and early CHURCH teachings? So, I know what Copeland teaches and many others like him. 28 years ago, I was under house arrest awaiting a trial. I believed there was nothing for me to live for. So, I was going to hang myself in a closet. When I was a kid, my mom took me to church. I heard bits and pieces of the gospel and went to Sunday school and learned some basic stuff. Because of this, I realized that I had sinned against God and He had all rights and authority to put me in hell. Even knew my prayer and plea to save me was in no way what could justify me or move God to save me. It was completely up to Him. However, I also realized that I would be violating the command to not commit murder, if I killed myself. That's when I walked away from that, determined that I was in God's hands and whatever He wanted then, be it His will. But, I had no one to guide me (disciple). So, I stumbled on one of those WOF preachers on tv. About the only good thing that came from that was to read & study the Bible. It took more than 7 years before I came across a street preacher. He was taking people through the law, revealing their sinfulness. He then showed the need for a Saviour. How we couldn't save ourselves and said that we should repent of our sins and put our trust in Jesus for forgiveness of our sins and eternal life. I knew all this but, as I wrote earlier, only in pieces. That's when I realized all those pieces were together, the complete and only true biblical gospel. That led me out of the WOF, as I studied and read more, learning to discern true biblical teachings, like a more in depth description of the gospel, for one. As for the whole mixing of our blood with Jesus', as I mentioned Copeland was teaching before, I watched more than 10 minutes of that, just to see his context. He had no biblical basis for the blasphemous teaching. Jesus shed HIS blood for our sakes. Our blood has absolutely NOTHING to do with HIS salvific work on the cross! And communion is what Jesus told us to do in remembrance of Him! Nowhere in the scriptures does it say that our blood mixes with His and no commands for us to mix our blood with His, either. This is just one example of Copeland's false teachings. As far as the "little gods" thing, there's been plenty of refutation to that. You can always start with the first three commandments. But even if I show you a dozen verses refuting this unholy teaching, it appears that you're a staunch believer in all of these teachings from such preachers as Copeland. Wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction.
