One of Kenny Rogers earliest solo appearances and the first time he worked with Dolly Parton. Both very interestingly between images at this point, this clip launched a durable duo/
Yes exactly. They're very professional at their job..They set aside their personal Life and respect each other. No one can compare their partnership. I love them being a good partner in their career..🙏♥️♥️♥️
@@lynnbrown8141 ok am glad to hear that, yes I am doing good, thanks for asking, would like we keep talking on somewhere preferable so we can get to know more better and share up some common interest together Lynn?
Hello Rhonda. How are you doing?? I guess fine. If so, then thanks be to God. I saw your reply. I will be glad if you give same opportunity to communicate and check up on you once in while. We can be friends and good company as well. Hope to hear from you. Take care
@@rhondaboncutter5812 Thanks so much and I’m sorry for your loss of your husband but you’re about to feel a special love soon. Let me have your hangouts so we chat better please 🙏🏿
He lived a long, full life and will be lovingly remembered for a very long time. Doesn't get much better than that. Rest easy now, Kenny. Ya did good.♥️
I do envy you who grew up in that era because it's the songs of that era that I love so much. I was born in 1988. I've heard this song before but in many different versions. I've now seen the original version now.
@@cindycrenshaw-martin9849 I agree! I graduated in 1976 also. What great songs we've heard...this one included. They just don't make entertainers like this anymore.. Sure going to miss Kenny.
What a singer , just lifts up his guitar and starts singing . This is pure talent. Thank you for lifting our lives with your great songs . Rip Kenny Rogers , you shall always remain in our hearts
Oh, in the beginning Kenny still had that gravely voice , I have loved Kenny since First Edition! Kenny and Dolly together were magical! Their songs together were pure, and loving!
Rebecca LaVoy You must be a fool for saying such. You’re trying to put dirt on my name. Where has looking for a relationship become a scam. You an Idiot. If you don’t mind your business, you will proof your words in the court. I’m going to sue and your family.
@@scottsmith2613 ... You are saying the exact same thing to multiple women. You are most likely targeting widows and such. If you were truly looking for a woman to have a relationship with, you would go to a dating site. There are numerous ones out there. You wouldn't be on you tube regurgitating the same sentence over and over again. This shows a needy, desperate person.
@@scottsmith2613 ... Your desperation is pathetic. You have asked many women the exact same question. Loser...In fact, I think that you are a scammer. Stop preying on women!
Palomino Club, North Hollywood CA 1976/1977 first heard Kenny sing this.. One time Dolly was introduced from the audience. Unfortunately didn't know much about her at that time. Sing with the angels Kenny.♥️
If country music today sounded like this, I'd be its biggest fan. Just like every other genre, it has gone downhill. I grew up listening to this man's unique voice. Big loss!! And Dolly was a looker.
Kenny was so good looking when he sang this song with Dolly! He was even more handsome when he got older! Saw him and First Edition a couple times! Will always love Kenny and Dolly!
@@winstonleighton1358 He is also a famous American singer song writer. More on You tube. Check this out ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-n4AgZST_TG8.html

God be with you all, if you love Kenny and Dolly! This is from when Kenny was still with The First Edition, saw Them in concert many times in Cincinnati when the were first a band! Saw Alalbama 's first concerts, also!
What a tremendous loss to country singers. We were blessed to have him for as long as we did. Our hearts and prayers go out to his beautiful family. God be with you too Dolly Parton.
That's cool. You're very smart. God bless you, Gussie..!! How are you doing today I hope you enjoyed the sweet melody of Dolly's song Right 👍? Coz I'm a big fan of Dolly Parton.💞😇👀
Kenny n Dolly...Dolly n Kenny ... A "FOREVER VOICE"... R.I.P Kenny Rogers...your voice...will forever live on...in each of us...Thank you for sharing your gift from above...💞💕💞
Sleep In Heavenly Peace Mr. Kenny Rogers You Will Never Be Forgotten. You couldn't get your healing here in the land of the living so God brought you home to heal you
I just love to listen to singers with distinctive voices. Kenny Rogers was one of those folks. Dolly, Luther, Stevie, B.Striesand, Dionne, Pattie, M.McDonald these people are so special. God bless them.
Kenny music will never fade. it has a tendency of taking you back to the olden days, it lifts your spirit, it's real and will always be evergreen.. You're a real fan
Awww!!!!!! Oh the blend!!!!!!!! Such beautiful voices. ....... God's blessings ...... Hallelujah Jesus. My big sister and I called him daddy because he looked like our dad .... truly LOVE lifted me, a song that will nwver grow old. Dolly continue to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Luv ya tons, stay safe in the precious name of Jesus. (Pam.)
I was 10yo when my dad first played Kenny rogers hit casset player on 9ur family road trip to picked onions in nz in 83. I'm 53yo now still this country music just touched my soul
I knew who Dolly was from Porter Wagonner Show! Kenny was with First Edition, when they came together they became so famous for their duets! Loved them both! Love this song and them forever!
my favorite kenny music style is when he comes back to country style ....... and when he sings with Dolly, OMG ..... the country music is at the best. Thank you from Algeria (RIP K.Rogers)
It’s so amazing how many of the ones passing from us got their start in church. Kenny’s mom made them go to church 3 times a week. He said she once told him that everything she poured into them as a child would be what made them a better adult.
I always loved Kenny. Saw him in 1970 at the Now Grove at the Ambassador hotel in Los Angeles. It was my senior prom and me and a few friends were bored to death so we walked around and sat the KR and the 1st Edition were doing a dinner show. I can't remember how we scrounged up the $$ to see it, but we did. It was awesome. Saw him several times after.
omg what a beautiful song.....ONLY LOVE YOU NEED FOR LIFE....r.i.p GREAT AMAZING KENNY.ROGIERS......and pretty DOLLY.PARTON.....SHE IS SWEET....SHE GONE MISS HIM.....
THE HERO OF COUNTRY MUSIC REST IN PEACE, AND WE PRAY THAT GOD OUR LORD OFFERS YOU MERCIFUL JUDGEMENT AND FORGIVE YOU YOUR SINS IF ANY AND GIVE YOU ETERNAL LIVE AND. THESE IS MY HUMBLE PRAYER AND YOUR GLOBAL FANS.
I always like Kenny Rogers growing up but I discovered this song in my 60s for me it takes Kenny Rogers to another level it's like he's singing my theme song
