I fell in love with this work as a teen. At 71, I love it still. It's a work that reminds me why the piano is my favorite musical instrument.

I've always loved the Prelude and the Variation movements more than the Fugue. It's a pity this lovely work is such a rarity on the concert stage. Not surprising though: not virtuosic or showy enough for the professional concert pianist, but still makes enough musical and interpretative demands to challenge the most gifted of pianists. He succeeds magnificently here!! 😃😃😃👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼😍😍😍

Kenny is a truly outstanding pianist. Had the pleasure of hearing him in recital in Denver and I was blown away.

@@davidhouse4973 I did. What a great recital, and now he's gone on to win 3rd prize at the Tchaikovsky competition. A truly talented pianist.

Il faut pas oublier qu'il s'agit d'une transcription pour piano d'orgue, il n'y avait pas d'indication sur les nuances, elles ont été ajoutées au goût de l'éditeur.

@@Assassunn Mais il y a bien des nuances écrites dans la pièce originale. Elles peuvent être réalisées grâce à la boîte d'expression, ainsi que la registration spécifiée par Franck.
